I was really excited today because my person let me head up the dry wash.
I’m always trying to pull her up this wash and most of the time she says no and pulls back.
So I figured we’d get a nice, long walk today.
Well, I figured wrong.
We got a little way up the wash – a few feet, no more. And then what does she do.
She pulls out her camera.
She didn’t want to go on a walk with me. She wanted to take pictures.
And she picked the strangest things to take pictures of.
If she wanted to take pictures of me, that would be one thing.
But no, she wanted to take pictures of…
flowers,
and fairies.
And this is the worst one.
She took pictures of catclaws.
Couldn’t she at least have found some dog paws to take pictures of instead?
Hey person, I’m over here. Point your camera this way.
Now start walking.

It’s the ominous camera again!!! Well, at least she takes beautiful pictures, Bongo!
BTW I like it when you give orders like that!!! 🙂

Marina, my person says thanks. So do I, but I’ve got one problem. I can’t seem to get my person to obey my orders.

Oh Bongo, I am so sorry you are being neglected! Maybe you should eat the camera! Wooooowoooooo!

Ku, that sounds like a great idea – but I don’t think I’ll eat it – maybe just chew it up a bit.

Dear Bongo, I’ve just caught up on your last posts; most of them were about your walks and your person’s camera. I like the slide and the smelly “not” trail – the animal trail, not a people trail. Keep walking, Bongo, give those mountain bikers what for because they blocked your trail but don’t make your person fly at the end of your leash. She is, after all, the source of all treats and walkies. I look forward to your next Bible lesson.

Thanks Roberta. I’ll try not to make my person fly too far. I wouldn’t want to miss out on treats and walkies. My newest Bible story is posted now.

What is up with people? Yesterday, Mom took me geocaching, and she took pictures of acorns! Helloooo. I’m over here!!
Love and licks,

Cupcake, you went geocaching? I’m so jealous. I’m trying to get my person to do that with me. Maybe when she gets tired of her camera. But acorns? Did you find the geocache? You should stick all the acorns in it.

Benny & Lily, maybe we should make our people wear sleeveless tops. They might pull a lot less mischief.

We are sooo impressed to see those pictures that your person took, because we feel these plants’ lives through the pictures!!!!! Your person is genius in pictures! 🙂

Thanks so much Kevin. I guess we do have plants here that don’t grow in other places. Got to get rid of that catclaw though.

Perhaps you should show her some sharp dog claws. But I’m afraid she wouldn’t interpret them properly.

Kolytyi, sometimes I use my dog claws to dig in when I disagree with my person on where to go. It usually turns into a regular tug of war.

Collies, there are an awful lot of catclaws on my trails. Guess I’d better bring a big jug of water with me and keep drinking it so I have enough.

Mom always loves the flowers Bongo, but she wasn’t thrilled by the cat claw !

You have to watch that cat claw. It grabs you when you walk by. Kind of like what real cats sometimes do.
