Travelling Afar

10 Feb

Bongo in the 4RunnerSometimes I go travelling in a car.

.

.

.

.

.

.

And sometimes I travel by foot.

Bongo heading down the trail

I’ve never before travelled so far that I couldn’t come back the same day.

But this time I went a whole lot further.

I’m not even sure how I got there.

I don’t remember getting there.

But I was there – I know it.

I have proof.

I really went there.

I really did go to Sydney.

I went and hung out with a bunch of friends.

My person says it takes hours and hours to get there from here – even if you go on a big jet.

I don’t remember hours and hours and I don’t remember anything about a big jet, so there must be another way.

My person told me there is another way.

She says I probably went there in my dreams.

Bongo curled up in his kennel

That must be it!

I never knew you could really travel somewhere in your dreams.

I guess I learned something today.

Because I’m not making this up.

I did really go there.

I’ve got proof.

And if you don’t believe me, click here.

See, I really was in Sydney, wasn’t I?

Lily, it was fun – I think. I don’t remember much about it. But I do know I want to go back for some more little girl loves.

Fredrieka, I’ll do that watering thing anytime, anywhere when I’m outside. Guess that makes me a good travelling dog.

Cupcake, I’m sure glad you saw me there because I’m still having a hard time believing I was there. It was a great trip though – especially with all the little girl loves I got.

You were definitely here, next time we’ll bring the little girl loves to you! Your person is right though, you can travel to lots of amazing places in your dreams. Reminds me of a great A A Milne quote: I think we dream so we don’t have to be apart for so long. If we’re in each other’s dreams, we can be together all the time.

Bumpy Road, I can’t wait until the little girl loves come to me. In the meantime, I’ll keep dreaming about them.

Yes Bongo! I believe that you travelled to Sydney to see your little friend in real! The picture proves it! What a wonderful picture it is! Five of you, look so happy! :)

Kevin, I have to admit I had great fun in Sydney. Now I’ve got to figure out how to get back there. I need more of those little girl loves.

I travel in my dreams all the time Bongo … and then Diane goes & ruins it by waking me up because my legs are racing along the wall…Lola

What a bummer Lola. You’ll have to convince Diane that you’re racing for a reason.

Karen, it was an awesome dream – but I think I was really there. I just can’t figure out how to get back there.

G’day mate!! Did you get to chase a boomerang too? Looks like fun!

    Wags to all,

    Your pal Snoopy :)

Snoopy, those boomerang things are no fun. Just when I think I’m about to catch it, it turns around and goes back to the person who threw it. Guess I’ll stick with sticks and Frisbees.
