Squeakers be Found

Package of Squeakers

Hooray! My person cleaned out her closet and found the missing package of squeakers. You know what that means? Replacement squeakers for my silent toys. Now they can squeak again.

I don’t know if these toys get mad at me or what? They squeak along just fine and then one day they won’t make any sound at all. But my person fixed that. She bought a whole bag of squeakers – and then she lost them.

I thought maybe my younger person threw them away. He doesn’t like it when I squeak my toys. Sometimes he throws them behind the couch where I can’t reach them. I try to be good around him, but making that squeaky sound is so wonderful that I just can’t help myself. I especially like to play catch with my squeaky toys in between squeaking them. It’s almost as good as having a nice meaty bone – but not quite.

Oh, no! I thought my person was going to give my toys new squeakers and she threw them out instead. Why??? I did what!? My person said I chewed the toys up so much that the squeakers will just fall out. That can’t be. Never!

Do I have to wait all the way to Christmas before I get new toys?

Oh what fun to find those squeakers. That sure will be fun to have them back in your toys again, so they can make all that noise one more time. We are sure glad that you found them. Good job.

Wow–I did not even know that you could get replacement speakers. But of course you can! They have just about everything on the market these days. 🙂 Maybe I’ll have to look into that for Gertie. Duke isn’t really into toys, except when he wants to steal them from Gertie. Then they’re great fun, of course.

Andrea, some toys have velcro openings so you can get the squeakers out, and they come with a couple extra. I found the large bag of squeakers on Amazon.

Ah, I know about those squeakers! So sorry that they are gone and you’ll have to wait for the holidays. I don’t know why, but my Boxers have never been the kind to tear out the squeakers. And I must say, I love hearing the squeak! It means fun is being had. 🙂 I guess you can ask your person for a bone instead. 🙂 Smooches, Bongo!

Katie, I usually treat my toys well, except when my people have visitors over. I get really excited and chew my toys apart.

The first thing I do with new toys is remove the insides, squeakers included. My fastest time from new toy to complete destruction is about three minutes. My person never lets me keep the stuffing and squeakers, though. As soon as I pull it out, she throws everything away in the trash can with the lid.

Lola, I used to pull my stuffing out too, but then my person would throw away my favorite toy so I started being nicer to them – most of the time.

That’s so weird! I was at the pet store today, and saw bags of replacement squeakers. I never knew they sold those! Bongo’s person and I must be on the same wavelength.

There is no way you will have to wait until Christmas for news toys, will you?

2 brown dawgs, my person says I still have enough toys. Maybe if I look real sweet (hard for me to do) she won’t make me wait that long for some new ones.

Squeakers are necessary for stress relief, aren’t they?? I sure hope you don’t have to wait until Christmas for a new squeaky toy. I mean, gee whiz, sometimes ya just gotta give heck to the squeaker! 😉

Lindy, I hope I don’t have to wait until Christmas either, but my person says I still have my squeaky snake, and that might have to hold me over. I’m really hoping she surprises me.
