ROAD CLOSED

08 Apr

Wait a minute! What is this Road Closed sign doing here?

Bongo and a Road Closed sign

This is really bad.

It’s not even a road.

That’s the entrance to my trails!

Bongo and Road Closed sign a trailhead

Oh, this must be why they closed it.

They didn’t want my person to make me wait while she took flower pictures.

Desert Flowers

But she did it anyway.

Well, I guess it’s a good thing dogs are still allowed on the Road Closed.

Because I found out why it’s closed.

Bongo in his puddle

My puddle’s back!

It’s been missing for a very long time.

Those Road Closed people must have not wanted anyone else to find it.

Bongo in the puddle

I wonder if the water tastes as good as last time it was here.

Angels Whisper, I’ve been missing you too. That’s why I insisted my person let me write a blog post. My person says those signs will be around for awhile while they upgrade the parking lot but only cars are blocked. People, dogs, and cats are still allowed.

What a great idea. Closing the road to the puddle will keep it from getting away again. Also people won’t be able to steal it. Enjoy your dip, buddy.

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

Thanks Cupcake. I sure hope those signs keep that puddle blocked in there.

What a great place except I hate getting my feet wet. Hey Bongo I have missed you does this mean your back?

Fredrieka, I’ve been hanging out on Facebook once or twice a week, but for some reason my person won’t let me do blog posts very often. If you hang out with me on my trails I won’t make you get your feet wet in my puddle – but I might splash you a little bit.

Yeah, that water tasted pretty good. But today it was all full of silt so I didn’t even stick my tongue in it.

That was sure nice of the road people to close your trail so no one else could get to your puddle sweet Bongo. Those flowers that your person took a picture of are sure pretty. They add nice color to your trail. Hugs and nose kisses

Mags, my person says only cars are not allowed to come near my trail, but people and dogs can still go on it. It’s a good thing. I didn’t want cars to go on my trail anyway. Hugs and nose kisses back to you.

That is good Bongo, cars have no business on your trail. Nose kisses

Ah, Bongo, it’s great seeing you here and so happy you found your very own puddle again!
I wonder who puts signs like these up… err, humans huh? 😉

Marina, it sure wasn’t the dogs who put up those signs. My person says they’re improving the parking lot so they don’t want any cars hanging around, but people and dogs are still allowed. It’s a good thing. It would be terrible if a car drove right through my puddle.

Patricia, I’ve been giving my trails a good workout, but my person doesn’t seem to want to help me do blog posts. Sometimes she lets me get on Facebook though.

Karen, I think I’ve got to sleuth out what happened to my Detective Dog hat. My person has it hidden somewhere.

Wow! Great! Your private puddle is back! How did the water taste, Bongo? Did you find any tadpoles? 🙂

    • Bongo

      April 18, 2016 at 10:15 pm

Kevin, the water was pretty stirred up so it didn’t taste good at all. I guess the tadpoles thought the same thing because I didn’t find any. My person says the tadpoles will probably show up in the summer when it’s hot.

They were just making sure no one else played in your puddle 🙂 Did the water taste good??

That water must have tasted really good because my puddle’s gone again. Someone drank it all up.
