Squishy mud, crunchy snow, and all of it cold. I love going out on the trail on snow days. I have to admit that my person makes better crunches though. She has bigger feet.
I got lots of sniffing time in – and there were some good smells – because my person kept stopping to take pictures. She said she was hoping she would get better lighting, but she kept stopping anyway. It was kind of nice – getting to stop that much. My person hardly ever lets me do that.
We met lots of people on the trail and a couple dogs. They were all out enjoying the snow like we were. One man even gave my person a heart. I thought he should give it to me, but I guess my person needs a heart too. I think she should have given it to me after I was good with those dogs though. I didn’t growl or anything.
Back to my sniffing now. I’m doing it for my person – so she can keep taking pictures.

B0ng0, it is really pretty here in the snow – at least that’s what my person says. I just like to play in it.

Bongo, your person took some beautiful photos! And I love the heart and agree your person needs a heart too. Good for you for not growling or barking at the other dogs. And I see you’ve got snow falling on your blog too! We have snow here today in Michigan but it’s not sticking. 😦

Laurie, my person says thanks and me too. Our snow is going away, but sun is good too. My person and I just saw your post on Bassa’s BBC Channel. Bassa made a good choice in featuring your Happy Endings post.

Thanks Bongo! I was excited to see that Bassa reported my story on his new channel (I love his idea for a “good news” channel – very much needed!). I’m just grateful that I had such good news to share with my Happy Endings post! 🙂

Thanks Rumpy. My person says you can see some of her paintings on her Facebook page in her Wall Photos. https://www.facebook.com/LauraLeePratt. She won’t post the new paintings yet though, because she doesn’t want to spoil the Christmas surprise for her family. I think I’ll have to get her to paint one of me before she’ll post it here, but she says she’s not good enough at dogs yet.

Sometimes my Mom takes me on “smell walks” where she lets me stop and sniff as much as I want! Arizona looks like a great place to live. How about I trade you a few NYC skyscrapers for one of those mountains?
Bongo
December 5, 2011 at 11:40 pm
Uptown Dog, I might trade for a little while if I can go explore inside those skyscrapers. Better yet, why don’t we both hang out in Arizona.

Madam Lasagna instructs me to ask you to send the snow to Pennsylvania. She enjoyed a late October snow and is anxiously awaiting another chance to make snow angels. We love your blog Bongo! You look very “sharp” among the cacti!!! 🙂

Thanks Wayside Artist, and thanks for stopping by and commenting. Tell Madam Lasagna we’re quickly running out of snow but I’m sure she’ll have some of her own to make snow angels with soon.

Bongo what beautiful pictures, I love Sedona
it is one of my favorite places to visit. I have

seen snow. Looks like a wonderful place to
crunch in the snow & smell. Hope you get more snow to play. In 🙂
