I think my person is famous and she didn’t even tell me. When we go on the trails near our house we see lots of people and dogs. Most of them come to the trailhead in their cars and we don’t know them, but my person says hi and I sniff them as they pass.
Some people and dogs live in the neighborhood so we see them on the trail all the time. I recognize the dogs, and my person recognizes the people because we share the same trails a lot.
Well today we were walking along and we passed two people. We stopped and said “Hi” and I got some loves. I always like that. Then the man asked my person if she worked at the post office. Well, my person used to work at the post office and that man had been her customer.
I know all the trail people that my person knows, so if someone that I don’t know on the trail recognizes her, doesn’t that make her famous?

I always find it awkward if I meet people that are my costumers.

Dianda, when my person was still at the post office she says she met customers all the time and sometimes they would recognize her but she wouldn’t recognize them – because for awhile she worked at the counter and saw lots of people.

My person gets to go so many places that I don’t so she knows a lot more people. When she comes home from someplace she’s been without me, I sniff her clothes to see who she has met. The ones that I detect the most often show up at our house sooner or later. Then they become my friends, too.

Lola, I bet that’s pretty cool when someone you’ve smelled comes to your house. That happens to me sometimes too.

If she is famous it is because she is your person.

Your human was a mail carrier? How cool is that! Ask her if she delivered mail and how many dogs barked at her?

Rumpy, my person says she worked mostly in the office but sometimes she had to go with the carriers on their routes. She says she remembers one route especially where almost every house had a chain link fence and dogs who came up to the fence and barked at them. I only bark at my mail person when she comes to the door with a package, but when my person opens the door she gives me loves.

Wow, your person worked at the post office! I think that the job at the post office is wonderful because it helps delivering mails and gifts, that make the ties between person and person strong! How lovely it is! 🙂

Sweet Bongo you are famous too just look how popular you are on the web and now you are going to be famous because the word will spread after your meeting with the customer on the trail. Popsy worked at the post office before he retired and sometimes he sees some of the people who knew him there but we have never seen any of them. We see our postal lady though and she is very nice. Hugs and nose kisses
