Hey person, look at this pretty pattern I made on the carpet. Doesn’t it look nice?
What? I’m in trouble for that? No way!
I didn’t do it person. Honest, I swear. Scratchy did it. Look, he’s standing right over there. I just saw it and thought it was pretty. You know how much he likes to go counter surfing.
What do you mean, most of the beans are missing? I don’t know what happened to them. Did you check under the furniture? Maybe Scratchy ate them.
I bet he could. I bet Scratchy could eat that many beans if he really put his mind to it. Can we go for a walk now? I really feel like I need to go for a walk.
Aaaahhhhh! That feels much better. Relief!
What!? You found the missing beans? Oh no!
Busted!!!

Bongo! That is so naughty. …..and so nasty! Raw beans! A tummy ache waiting to happen. At least your person didn’t have to induce vomiting. Ugh.

January 6, 2012 at 2:01 pm
Genevieve, it all came out in the end – and kept on coming. I even had to get my person up at 4:00 AM and I don’t very often do that. I guess I was lucky my person didn’t have to make me vomit.

Naughty but sooooo crunchy? (Scratchy loved batting them around and playing hockey, too, I’m sure….)

January 6, 2012 at 2:02 pm
Karen, that crunchiness was really good. I couldn’t get Scratchy to do anything with them though. He just likes the sunny spot where they were.

Oh dear, Bongo. Dried beans, not even soaked yet. That had to be quite a tummy ache for you! I hope you’ve decided you don’t like beans!

Lindy, those beans were nice and crunchy, but I didn’t really like the results.

Uh oh, Bongo. Madam Lasagna instructs you to always blame the cat. It’s always the cat’s fault no matter the evidence otherwise. We’re glad everything came out alright in the end! 😉

Madam Lasagna, you and I are on the same page. It’s always the cat. I’m still trying to convince my person of this though, as I leave several piles of beans in the back yard.

Bassetmomma, I was still working on removing beans in the middle of the night and today, but I think they’re gone now.

ROFL!!! Bongo, you are sooo FUNNY!!! But seriously…your tummy was okay? Scratchy didn’t eat at all ? How did they taste?
I’m cureious what the orange one on the pic and almost similar shaped ivory one are ? Look like some vitamins…! very colourful beans! 🙂

January 7, 2012 at 10:49 am
Kevin, I have to admit that Scratchy didn’t eat any of those beans. They didn’t have much taste, but they sure were good and crunchy. I made lots of trips outside, but I’m back to normal now. Those orange and ivory beans in the picture are both lentils. They do kind of look like vitamins, don’t they?

HAHAHAHA Bongo, you are hilarious!!!! I hope you are feeling ok now! Scarlett got into my bag yesterday, pulled out a brand new Christmas ornament I received as a gift and ate it! She did not have a very good day either 😦
Love the photos, the beans did make quite a nice piece of “unexpected art” 🙂

January 7, 2012 at 10:52 am
Deanna, I think the beans probably tasted better than a Christmas ornament. I hope Scarlet is doing alright. I’m much better now, but it took a whole day to get rid of most of those beans. I did make a pretty picture with them, didn’t I?

Oh Bongo – I’ll bet Scratchy tipped it over & you were just trying to help pick up. Yeah, that’s what happened. I ate a whole bag of birdseed one time & now I know why those dumb birds make that splattery mess all over everything.

March 31, 2012 at 5:15 pm
Lola, that’s it. Scratchy did it. Hey person, I was trying to clean up Scratchy’s mess so you wouldn’t have to. If he spills birdseed though I don’t think I’ll clean that up.
