Are you crazy, person? I’m not taking you on my trails today. There’s thunder out there. And besides, it’s snowing and blowing and I only like snow when it’s on the ground and I can play in it.
Look, there’s no snow on the ground. What good is it if it’s not on the ground? Let’s go back in the house.
Okay fine. We don’t have to go back in the house yet, but I’m not taking you on those trails. We can walk around the block. Come on person. This way.
.
Besides, maybe some of my trail friend dogs will be around here. I know no self-respecting dog will be out on the trails right now.
***
This house is what? Who lives here? Kaiser? You told me you talked to one of Kaiser’s people and you’re going to let me meet him. You never let us get together when we see him on my trails. So what about it, huh?
***
What do you mean, we’re going home now. I had to give Kaiser what for – let him know who’s boss. Now we can be friends next time we meet.
But I’m not ready to go home yet. Kaiser’s cat comes into my yard sometimes. I’ve got to make sure he stays over here.
Person! Let go of my leash!
This is embarrassing. I couldn’t even go after a cat.
Where do you think you’re going, person?
We are still not going on those trails.
I’m taking you home.

Kolytyi, sometimes my person has a mind of her own. She wants to go places that I don’t think are good for her.

You should train her. But this is a very difficult task, I know. You’ll need a lot of patience.

Kolytyi, you’re right about that patience thing. I’m always working hard at training my person and for some reason it never seems to stick.

Patrecia, if that cat ever steps foot into my yard again I’ll give him what for for sure. Scratchy’s my lookout. He sits in the window and watches.

You put your paw down, Bongo! Who’s the boss anyway?!!!
I hope thunders go away soon…

Marina, at least we only got a couple thunders. I sure hope they don’t come back though.

Benny & Lily, that’s what I was thinking too. Sometimes I don’t know where my person’s head is at.

Misaki, fortunately we only had a couple thunder claps. Good thing. I can take my person out on my trails again. It’ll be safe.

Oh, boy, thunder again, no wonder that you don’t want to bring your person en route… 😀

Angels Whisper, that thunder was such a shock because it’s not the time of year that we normally get it. At least it only thundered a couple times and then it quit.

Oh! Thunder and Snow at the same time? Very interesting….because I never have snow with thunder..with rain, yes but with snow, no. Is that normal in Sedona?
Bongo
January 30, 2013 at 10:13 am
Kevin, we don’t normally get much thunder this time of year, but occasionally we get some when it snows. At least it only thundered a couple times and it’s gone now. Yay! But there’s no snow to play in either. We only got a tiny bit.

Karen, I just have to train my person that there are a few days you shouldn’t go out. She just doesn’t get it sometimes.

Ooooh Bongo – please oh please keep your thunder there. You really need to see about that cat though. I’ve got one who comes in my yard & he does not belong here! He can catch his mice over in his own yard.

Lola, the thunder went away and I hope it never comes back. And I agree with you about the cats. They need to stay in their own yards. I already have one cat to put up with. I sure don’t need any more.

Oooooh Bongooooo – we had big wind last night & I had to let Diane know about it! I don’t like big wind either, it’s really really scary.

Lola, my person doesn’t even like big winds. She says twice a tree has hit her roof during a big wind.

Hey, the same thing happened at our house & took our porch out – unfortunately, Spirit the Berner before me was under the porch at the time & he ran away for a day he was so scared.
Bongo
January 31, 2013 at 2:47 pm
It’s a good thing Spirit came back. The first time it happened to my person she was renting so she didn’t have to take care of the damage. The tree landed on some wires connected to a corner of the roof. The next time it made a lot of noise, but didn’t cause any damage – but my person didn’t know that until it got light and she could see what happened.

Thunder, snow flurries, no trails and short street walk. We found that walk very unusual Bongo:p

Lexie and Mica, it was an unusual walk. We hardly ever walk on the street, but those trails just weren’t safe with that thunder coming out of them.
