Today is Monday Mischief Day and if it was up to me I wouldn’t have a thing to write about today.
After all, I am the perfect dog.
I never get into mischief.
Well, if I do it’s all Scratchy’s fault.
But this weekend my people were totally full of mischief.
They locked me in dog jail and went off hiking without me.
I can’t believe they didn’t take me.
.
And they used some excuse about me going over the cliff.
Well yeah, there was water down there that time.
I wanted to get to the creek.
I won’t go down a cliff with no water at the bottom.
But not only would my people not listen to me, now my person is stealing my blog so she can post pictures on it.
And I’m not in a single one of them.
Talk about rubbing it in.

Oh no Bongo! That’s terrible. Just don’t look at the photos … that way you won’t know what you missed. (great photos Bongo’s person!!!!)

FireBonnet, my person says thanks. Maybe I could leave her behind and go for a walk with you next time.

Ok, just no cliff walking… we can walk by a stream. 😉

I much prefer a stream anyway. I love water!

Thanks Fredrieka. But do you think maybe you and I could go for a walk and leave my person behind?

February 17, 2014 at 1:17 pm
I am really well trained so yes for a while I hate being away from my person to long.. All she has to do is say “Where’s my Fred ” I run back to her as fast as I can.

Fredrieka, I guess we’re different that way. Whenever I can break loose I like to keep about twenty feet away from my person and make her follow me.

Wonderful photos – even if they are sans dog!

Thanks. But I think they would have been much better with a dog in them.

What a dirty trick. Those people mistakenly think that hiking is hiking without a dog. Wrong!
Love and licks,

Cupcake, I know. It’s terrible. I don’t even know how they can call it hiking when there’s no dog.

Maybe they’ll take you next time? At least they brought back pictures to share with you. Though why they would hike without your help and companionship is beyond me.

I can’t figure out why they wouldn’t want to take me hiking with them. And those pictures just make me wish I’d been there.

Say what, Bongo? They went hiking WITHOUT you? That is unacceptable. I refuse to look at their photos. BOL

Seriously?!!!! Hiking with no Bongo? The only excuse I could think of is that your person wanted your professional opinion on the photos… they are good, don’t you agree?! 😉
Bongo
February 17, 2014 at 10:22 pm
Marina, my person says thanks. Personally, I don’t think they’re very good at all. They would be much better if I was in them.

Lily, I don’t get it either. After all this is my blog. I think my person should start her own blog.

Bongo, take heart – maybe they were just previewing to make sure you’d have a good time when they take you along….how could they not take you along the second time – that doggy face (you’ve been practicing while stuck in jail, right?)
Bongo
February 17, 2014 at 10:24 pm
Karen, the doggy face works sometimes. One time I convinced my younger person to take me along because of it. I don’t know why it didn’t work this time.

hi Bongo! I’ve been off of my blog for awhile and have not been looking at your blog too so I’m exited to see what you where up to at winter time!!!

Quinlyn, I think I’ve forgotten what winter time is. We haven’t had any winter this winter. But I have had a few adventures. Glad you’re back.

I posted my first photo of my new dog Mochi!

February 17, 2014 at 10:29 pm
I stopped by and checked out Mochi’s picture. Once I got to play with a chihuahua who lives on the next street. He’d gotten loose and we had a great time together – until his person came to retrieve him.

Wow! That looks like a scene out of a John Wayne Western. I don’t see why they don’t like us going over cliffs…. after all its easy to get down them…. _Ginger

Ginger, that’s what I figured about those cliffs. Oh, and did you know that a lot of westerns were filmed right here in Sedona?

Hey Bongo
They’re beautiful pics buddy, but of course they would be WAY better if you were in them! 🙂
I hope you’re having a fun day, i.e. not in jail!
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
