This time of year on most parts of my trails there are flowers. Some here, some there.
But enough flowers that my person is constantly stopping to take pictures.
It’s frustrating.
I mean, when I stop to check my messages she’s always dragging me along.
But then she wants to stop and she gets mad if I drag her along.
I do it anyway, unless there’s a good message right near the flowers.
But there’s one part of my trails where I’m safe.
There aren’t any flowers growing there.
Well, there weren’t any flowers growing there.
.
But this little flower decided to brave it all by itself.
Doesn’t it look lonely there?
But now that there’s a flower here my person is going to stop everywhere on my trails to take pictures.
I think I’d better hide this flower.
So she doesn’t know it’s here.

I’ll bet your mom let’s you sniff, too, Bongo. Pretty desert flower you found!

Roberta, those flowers aren’t much good for sniffing – unless someone’s left a message on it.

That little flower brought some pretty color to your trail sweet Bongo. Maybe she won’t take very long to take pictures and you can pull her right along on your trail. Hugs and nose kisses

Chancy and Mumsy, at least if there’s only one flower I guess my person won’t take too many pictures.

you are right there should be a law that parentswithoutpaws have to stop while we sniff pee mail. How else are we going to know if any one was there before us. Woof we should protest.. How do you suppose dogs protest?

Fredrieka, I try to protest by refusing to budge. But that just makes my person pull harder on my leash.

Did you eat it before your person saw it Bongo? I noticed you get to eat flowers. Mom doesn’t let me eat flowers.

Wall-E, I’ve actually never eaten a flower. They just don’t seem appetizing to me. Now weeds – the grassy kind – are another story.

Lily & Edward, you mean I’m not the only dog who has to wait for pictures?

And that’s how you get the perfect shot!!! Well done, Bongo! You managed to hide it well AND get your portrait taken! 🙂

Marina, maybe I should hide all the flowers. Then there would be more pictures of me. It’s better at home though. Sometimes I get treats for posing.

Flowers are inevitable, B. You’ll just have to slow it down. Mom always says the word, “Be careful!! Don’t step on the flowers!!”

Cupcake, step on the flowers when your mom’s not looking.

That’s a very pretty flower Bongo, I’m not surprised your Mum wanted to treasure the image, but maybe she could take her pics a little faster and not keep you waiting? 🙂
I hope you’re having a fun day,
Your pal Snoopy 🙂

Snoopy, I’ll have to teach my person to take pictures while she’s still walking. She always wants to stop and get everything just right in the camera before she clicks.

Kevin, there was only one of those flowers there last year too. But there’s more of them on a different part of my trails. I try to keep my person from going that way.

Oh, but it is a cute little flower. Maybe you can stop to visit it for a couple days…it may end up leaving before you even know it.

Oz, the flowers usually leave eventually, but this time of year other flowers show up to take their place. I’ve got to hide them all.

Great idea Ginger. I’ll have to hold onto some. I’ve usually gotten rid of them by the time I get to that flower.
