When I’m on my trails my person won’t let me get near any dogs that aren’t already my friends.
I don’t know how I’m supposed to make new friends if I can’t get near them.
But this cute little number…
…ran right up to me.
My person had no chance to put a damper on things.
And now I have a new girlfriend.
See, I get along fine with other dogs.
But could you just do something about my arch enemy – you know, that German Shepherd who lives around the corner from us?
Person, if you don’t stop talking to her person I’m going to give that dog what for again.
Only dogs I like are allowed on my trails.
Send the others away and I’ll get along with every dog I meet.
And I’ll be the friendliest dog around.

Billy and Pip, I’d invite you on my trails to look for girlfriends – but the only kinds of girls I see there are dogs and people. And I’m having all kinds of trouble with that Shepherd because my person is friends with her person and they like to stop and talk.

your person is smart, momwithoutpaws asked someone who trains paw babies, what to do, they said the safe thing to do is simple your person says my dog does not socialize while on the leash. Reason for it because some pawbabies feel threatened when not free and in control and it at times creates some bad things. So that is what we do..

Fredrieka, that’s me for sure. At the dog park I get along with everybody but when I’m on my leash on my trails I’m particular about who I get along with.
