Too Many Houses

22 Oct

Bongo sniffing the ground under a juniper treeHmmm.

There’s something different about this tree.

Person, what do you mean, I’m looking in the wrong spot?

There’s what?

Oh.

.

.

Bird house in a juniper tree

There’s something different in this tree.

What is that thing?

It doesn’t look natural.

It’s a what?

Bird house on tree trunk

A bird house?

Well that doesn’t make sense.

First they kick their nest house out of the tree in my yard.

And then they go putting up a fancier house in a tree on my trails.

And it doesn’t look like anybody’s even living in that house.

Some lucky bird!

I wish I had more houses than I knew what to do with.

But all I have is a …

Bongo leaving his dog jail

…dog jail.

That’s just not fair. You should have two houses too.

Stanze, I totally agree. How could a silly bird have more houses than me.

Yea Bongo, I finally figured out how to get your blogs again! I had to go into my reader (which showed I was following) but somehow, maybe a sneaky c-a-t went in there and turn the notifications to off! Now we can keep up with you again.
You never know wo may be in that house Bongo. Diane was peeking inside a bird nest in one of my shrubs and a mouse poked his head out and started yelling at her.

Lola, those cats can be full of mischief. Gizmo tried to bat at me today when I was coming into the house (he sits on the arm of the futon by the door) but I gave him what for. So glad you figured out what the cat was doing with your notifications.

Well it seems to be fixed now, so let’s see if it stays that way. In the meantime – do you have a fingerprint/pawprint kit? Maybe we should dust the keyboard.

Lola, I’m sure Detective Dog aka me can come up with one of those.

Hey, your dog jail is inside and that’s better than a dog house out back!

Jen, I guess you’re right. I don’t have to get hot in the summer or cold in the winter.

Perhaps they would let you move in? It could be tardis like and bigger on the inside!

Dalton, that might work if that opening is actually bigger than it looks too.

Your dog jail…Oops! *hem hem*. Dog house looks much better than the bird house! Well….I wonder if someone made the house to catch a bird or he/she kindly prepared it for a bird that didn’t have a house?

Hope the bird or birds stayed all year round. I’m a expert on bird research and could help you out with your cats hunting down birds if you’d like.

Owner of the page I love my dogs, Tula and Momar

Some birds are here all year and others come and go. It was so nice and warm today that even the hummingbirds were buzzing over us when I went walking on my trails. Oh, and those cats at my house won’t get any birds. They can only watch them through the window. They don’t get to go outside.
