I was so hoping that after the first day of spring no more flowers would show up.
But I was wrong.
Bunches of new flowers were on my trails today.
And of course my person had to stop and take pictures of all of them.
Like this Indian paintbrush.
This is the worst kind of flower, because it stands out wherever it is.
.
You can’t miss it, so I’ve got no chance of walking by quickly and hoping my person doesn’t see it.
But I discovered something today.
Something good.
Whenever my person stops to take flower pictures…
I can usually find some tasty weeds nearby.
And if my person doesn’t want me eating weeds she’s got to stop taking pictures.
Pretty good plan, don’t you think?
Take this white flower for example.
I had to search a little harder for the weeds.
But I found them.
***
Wait a minute.
I don’t see any weeds around this strange flower.
What is this flower anyway?
I’ve never seen anything like it on my trails.
My person will want to take pictures of this for sure.
I’d better hurry her along.
Maybe she won’t notice it.

Patrecia, my person thinks the white flowers smell good but it’s not my favorite kind of smell.

Gah! You’re lucky that round flower didn’t bean you on the head! Maybe instead of eating the weeds, you can eat the flowers. That will cut the picture taking to a minimum…..
Love and licks,

Cupcake, eating the flowers would be a great idea – if they tasted better.

You know what, Bongo? I think she noticed that white flower at the end but surely that’s more your sort of flower? If only it were a bit bigger, tennis ball sized perhaps?

Pigs, once I found a tennis ball on my trails. But after awhile I got tired of carrying it so I dropped it for someone else to find.

Lily & Edward, a golf ball seed must have blown onto my trails. I’ve never seen any growing there before.

Oh, Bongo, it seems that not much escapes your person’s vision! Just keep moving in her frame! 🙂

Marina, I keep trying but she pulls me out of the way.

If you eat all the weeds, then you might be vomiting when you get home. The next time you go where the flowers are, your person will probably not take any pictures out of fear, that you are eating the weed again. Just an advice …I think 🙂 Have a great day.

Laika, I learned which weeds make me vomit and I don’t eat them anymore – well, hardly anymore. I’ve got to figure out some other way to stop my person from taking all those pictures. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

I’ve never seen anything like the white round flower, either…very interersting…..Oh! Bongo…you have to bury it under the ground. so that your person won’t notice it…hopefully….

Kevin, I think someone else buried that white round flower for me. I couldn’t find it when I went back there.

Ginger, I hope we don’t get too many flowers too fast on my trails. I might have a hard time getting rid of them all.

I think she noticed Bongo. Do you think that a golfer laid an egg under that bush?

Diane and Lola, I’m still trying to figure out where that golfer hit that ball from. It must have been a long shot.

Dalton, there’s always some good in everything. Sometimes you just have to look a little harder for it.
