Oops. I didn’t mean to do it. Truly I didn’t. But my people left me –again. And then it happened – again. I just had to find a way out. Any way out. I didn’t care how I did it. I didn’t care about getting in trouble. Whatever I had to dig up or tear down – I was gonna do it.
Oh no! Here they come. Good, it’s still thundering. Maybe if I shake real hard like I’m really, really scared, they’ll feel sorry for me and I won’t get in too much trouble. Maybe. Oh please, please, please.
Hey, what’s with this Marley dog my person is talking about? Here I just tore up the house and I’m expecting to get a lot of attention – even if it’s bad attention – and she’s talking about Marley. Does she have a new friend? Does she like Marley better than me? My person says Marley and Me was her favorite book because it made her feel like I wasn’t so bad. But she says I’m a close second now. I don’t want to be second. I want to be first.

I hope your paws are okay. Thunder makes me crazy too, but I usually hide in the bathroom. I have a special place I can go, too, that’s all mine. I have my favorite blanket and water and I feel very safe there. They always give me peanut butter when I go in it. I love peanut butter, don’t you?

Lola, I did kind of hurt myself, but I’m okay now. That’s what I was trying to do was get in the bathroom. That’s where that door goes – but I really just wanted to get anywhere away from that thunder. I love peanut butter but my people don’t give it to me very often. Guess I’ll have to remind them. -Bongo

Oh Dog! You made a MESS!!! I hope you didn’t get in trouble. Tell your human to consider a thundershirt.

My people weren’t very happy with me, but I think they understand how scared I get so I didn’t get in too much trouble. One of my people just heard about the thundershirts a few days ago and she got online and ordered me one last night.

You are a star! If you’re gonna do it – do it BIG!!!!!! Next time I get told off for chewing the furniture I’ll point out this picture “But I’m not THAT bad….” Brilliant, it’s like having a free pass.

Bongo, thunder can’t hurt you – it is just a loud noise. You will hurt yourself if you scratch doors so hard. I worry 😦

Bassa, thanks for worrying about me. I did smear a little blood around, but I’m okay now. -Bongo
