Come on person. It’s not my fault you were gone all day and then it started raining just when you were going to take me out. You’ve got a hood on your jacket. Put it up. Let’s go.
Go figure. You didn’t even want to go out in the rain and now you’ve got your camera out. See, what did I tell you? It’s really pretty out here when it rains. Keep walking person.
You can look at that rainbow as long as you keep walking while you’re doing it. Put your camera away person. We’re supposed to be going on a walk.
It’s a good thing I talked you into going out in the rain. The sun’s going down. It we’d waited until the rain stopped it would have been dark.
You’re already wet person, but since my younger person didn’t come with us would it be alright if I shake myself off on him?
I don’t care if he gets mad. I’m doing it anyway.

Looks like you had a good time, Bongo! If you were here in Belgium, you could have a walk with us in the snow!

When it rains, Elka seems to believe that she might melt. She looks at me reproachfully, and will shake off frequently. Glad you still have fun!

Jen, I love water in any form so I don’t mind getting wet.

The photos are lovely. I used to love to walk in the rain, and then had to get glasses. Now it’s hard to see through the water spots; so I gave up the rain walks.
Bongo
February 3, 2012 at 12:54 pm
Sandra, my person says that’s one reason she likes contact lenses. She used to have the water spot issue too. Maybe an umbrella would keep the water spots off.

Once I walked the dogs in a total downpour, they didn’t care in the least and I had fun myself!
Bongo
February 3, 2012 at 2:57 pm
Jodi, I love getting wet so walking in a downpour sounds fun. The biggest problem is getting my person out the door.

Henry, I consider my person lucky. It hadn’t rained enough to make any good squishy mud.

Hey Bongo, Jet here. What incredible surroundings to walk in, you’re a lucky dude. We haven’t had rain in a long time, think today is the day. I’m ok with that as long as there are no booms, or flashing lights. Thanks for sharing.
Bongo
February 4, 2012 at 12:13 pm
Hey Jet, I don’t like those booms and flashing lights either. Fortunately we don’t get much of that this time of year – they mostly come in the summer. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I’ll stop by your blog too.

Hi Bongo – It’s the German. It’s been pouring here. My person got up really early – it wasn’t very light and said I had to go walk NOW…I didn’t want to get out of bed, but had to…we made it back just as it thundered… *shakes*. ..and we just got back from another walk – all the dogs are out – but we are all being rushed. I’m gonna look for one of those rainbows and pull it over us …maybe it will keep the rain away. *snort and high paws*
Bongo
February 4, 2012 at 2:45 pm
German, I would send you a rainbow but mine aren’t around any more. I don’t like thunder either and my person sometimes makes me go out walking then too. Fortunately we haven’t had any in a long time. We mostly get it in July and August here, and it’s the longest two months of the year.
