Little Friend’s Visit

25 Feb

Bongo's Little FriendI was so excited waiting for my little friend to come over today. He hadn’t come here for a visit in a very long time. This was going to be a great play day.

Here he comes, person. Here he comes!

What? Wait a minute. He walked right past me and gave Scratchy loves.

Bongo's Little Friend with Scratchy

Now he’s playing with my younger person and they’re totally ignoring me.

Little Friend and Younger Person building train tracks

They even let Scratchy play with the train. Hey, what about me?

Scratchy Watching the Train

I got so upset I tore up my squeaky reindeer.

My little friend wouldn’t even share his food with me. And I sat so pretty for him.

Bongo Waiting for Food

Then we went out on my trails. My trails, mind you. I’d better not be ignored on my trails.

Bongo Getting Loves from his Little Friend

I’m in heaven now. My little friend gave me some loves on my trails.

Jet, I didn’t know my little friend was so smart – but he did save the best for last. I’m not sure why, but I had to rescue your comment out of my Spam box.

Jet, I had to rescue your last comment from my spam too. You might have to contact the powers that be at WordPress to get it straightened out. I’d hate to see blogging friends missing your comments.

Whew! Thank goodness he came through on your trails! You had me really worried there for a moment. He went to Scratchy first….what’s up with that?

    • Bongo

      February 25, 2012 at 5:40 pm

Bassetmomma, I can’t figure out why my little friend went to Scratchy first. Scratchy doesn’t even like loves that much.

Happy blog hop day! Scratchy looks like a Florida Panther in that first photo. You got the better deal, Bongo. You went for a walk!

Sherry, I guess it’s always worth it when I get to go for a walk. I think Scratchy is jealous that he doesn’t get to go with us. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

How could anyone ignore you Bongo…bad training on behalf of someone’s parents.
But do not be jealous, you got the little person to yourself in the end and that was not a good thing to pull your reindeer apart, it was not reindeer’s fault and now he is all damaged..

    I will always love you

      February 26, 2012 at 7:25 am

Patreciau, the worst thing about my reindeer is that now he has no squeaker. Maybe my person will get me a new squeaker toy.

I love a story with a happy ending Bongo – though it was quite a gruesome ending for your squeaky reindeer! 🙂

    • Bongo

      February 26, 2012 at 2:12 pm

Bassa, it really was a good ending, but I might have to turn on my charm to get my person to get me a new squeaky toy.

Thanks Sunshine – my little friend didn’t share his food, but maybe he felt bad about that and that’s why he gave me loves.

Bongo, Scratchy was just the easiest, he was laying there not doing anything. Yours was the most fun he got to be outside and take a walk with you. What could be better than that 🙂

    • Bongo

      February 27, 2012 at 1:01 pm

Tyler’s you’re right. Scratchy doesn’t do much at all. I’m a lot more fun than him and I think my little friend found that out.

Karen, I felt kind of bad for my reindeer afterwards, but sometimes a dog’s got to do what a dog’s got to do.

    • Bongo

      February 27, 2012 at 1:13 pm

Karen, I think Scratchy gets jealous every time I go out for walks. When I go outside he’s sometimes waiting at the door for us.

Sandra, I’m hoping Santa will bring me more toys on Christmas.
