The parking lot at the beginning of my trails usually has vehicles in it. All kinds of vehicles. But today I found one that said Sedona all over it. I wonder if the car needed signs so it would remember where it is.
I wonder if that vehicle has different signs for when it goes driving around to other cities. Suppose it drove to Tucson. It might forget where it was, so if it took the Sedona signs off and put Tucson signs on, it wouldn’t have a problem.
And then if it drove to Santa Fe it could change signs again and it would still know where it was.
And if that vehicle drove to Durango it could change signs once more.
Then that vehicle could loop back down to Sedona and start all over again. Or maybe it already did that. I wonder if that vehicle has been to all those places, and Sedona was the last place it went.
Maybe that vehicle needs to take a longer trip this time. What if it went all the way to Washington State and visited Tacoma. I bet it would have signs for that too.
I think I might like to do some travelling. I wonder if they make signs for dogs.

Signs are important – ask your person about how the Gospel of John speaks of signs, not miracles. On the other hand, Owney gathered so many tags from his travels, he was given a vest on which to wear them. (http://www.timesunion.com/local/article/Owney-the-postal-dog-officially-has-his-day-1603732.php). Keep thinking, Bongo!

Bobbie Rae, my person says those signs in the Gospel of John point the way. I guess that’s like the signs on my trails that point the way. Maybe John was a tour guide like me. My person says my trails point the way to God too, because we can see His beautiful creation.
I’m jealous of that Owney dog. My person used to work at the Post Office and she said I wasn’t allowed there. I could have gone with the truck drivers and collected tags too.

We have seen SOME cars that have signs on them from every state they have been too. Some of them have LOTS of signs on them….pretty funny looking too.

Penny, I guess if those cars had traveled a lot, you wouldn’t even be able to see the paint on them.

Thanks Cee. You’re not too far from Tacoma. You could go there and put a Tacoma sign on your car – or is that truck – so you’d know where you were.

I foresee traveling in your future. My guide dog puppy, Dublin just flew to Phoenix, AZ to start his life as a working guide dog. I can’t wait to hear about his travels and adventures from his new him and his new partner.

Ckmorita, if they had a Phoenix car I could go there visit Dublin. He’s my almost neighbor now – well, a couple hours away. I bet is was hard to let him go, even though you knew you would have to. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Yep, it was very hard giving him up, but it was well worth it. I’m very happy for him and his new partner. Hopefully I’ll get to visit him now and then.

I’m thinking, Bongo, that would be a lot of work to change the signs every time you go to a different town. Might be easier to just try to remember where you’re at. 😉

Monica, I’ll try to remember but I think I would get confused every time I left Sedona. Do they have special maps for dogs?

Ah, Bongo, you want to be a traveller, aren’t you? I’m sure they also make signs for you, and if they don’t, you definitely leave them some signs. Have a great trip 😀

Bongo, me and my mom serched where your place ” Sedona” is on web and found out lots of info about Sedona, that surprised us because it’s close to the famous Grand Canyon! and also popular area for tourists from all over the world! Do you see some japanese tourists in your place, too? 🙂
Bongo
May 1, 2012 at 11:36 am
Kevin, we get lots of Japanese tourists here and many others too. And we’re about a two and a half hour drive from the Grand Canyon. My people have been there several times, but they’ve never taken me there.
