Pink Dragons

24 May

Pink DragonThere are some dangerous creatures out on my trails. I haven’t seen them yet, but my person told me there are dragons out there. And she said they’ll snap at you if you get too close.

I’ve heard stories about dragons. I’ve heard that they’re big, and they can fly. They can breathe fire too. My person said the dragons on my trails are pink. I wonder if they breathe pink fire.

That could be really bad. Pink fire could burn up all the trees and bushes on my trails – and it might even dry up my puddle too. I would have to go walking through a dark, crispy mass of tangled trunks. That wouldn’t be nearly as much fun. And the smells on my trails wouldn’t be the same at all.

What if those dragons breathed fire when my person and I were on my trails? Yikes! That could be really dangerous. We could turn into crispy critters.

Or what if some of my friends were on my trails and those dragons breathed fire? I wouldn’t want anything to happen to my friends.

That’s it! I’m going out there to face those dragons. There’s no way they’re going to hurt my friends.

Bongo Sniffing a Snapdragon

Hey person, I don’t know what you were thinking, but these dragons aren’t even snapping at me.

Thanks Sweet Kitten. They grow wild around here, but they’ve also been planted along some of the roadways and it’s really pretty seeing them blooming all over the area.

Susan, if it was a real dragon I guess sniffing it might burn my nose. Ouch!

Thanks Angels Whisper. You’re making me blush. It’s a good thing you can’t see the blush through all my hair.

any dragon especially a pink flowery dragon would run away in fear if you were after them Bongo but I suspect that these dragons are just plants so they will not harm you,,,you really are such a brave dog…maybe you should have been called Bongo The Lion Heart…..

Bongo, maybe you should carry a fire extinguisher in a backpack just in case. You’re very brave for putting your nose so close to a snapper.

Diane, that fire extinguisher in a backpack is a good idea. There’s so many fires in Arizona right now. I hope that dragon wasn’t the one that started them. Maybe I should check the news photos and see if any of the fires are pink.

Oh, sweet Bongo you have Mumsy giggling. We were anxious to see those pink dragons and see you face them…then I saw those pretty flowers. Those are the best dragons to have on your trail. Hugs and nose kisses

Thanks Kevin. My person says these pink snap dragons all all over town right now and brighten up all the roadsides. It was my person who drew the pink dragon picture. I would have done it but she won’t let me use her art stuff.

Thanks Monica. My person thinks those dragons are beautiful too. I guess they’re okay as long as they don’t start a fire.

We have Green Dragons(alligators) by some of our trails………ours are not so pretty and will eat you for Real! There is a few parks that Mama won’t take Chico, my Chihuahua brother at all!

Willow, those green dragons sound pretty scary. My person says she saw some of them once when she was visiting Florida, but I’m glad we don’t have any of them on my trails.

Those pinks did look chatty. You probably scared the fire out of them and stunned them into silence? Good job Bongo!

Karen, I guess I could look pretty scary to those little dragons. I’d better keep patrolling my trails to keep them in line.

Was your person being silly with you? Is your person silly with you often? I tease Taylor quite a bit, but she gets annoyed by my silliness after a while. 😉

Jessica, my person is always being silly with me. How was I supposed to know what she meant when she said pink snap dragons?

Bol Bongo! You’re such a funny lad! The Pink Dragons got Mom a little worried for your safety for a moment….! Until she saw those beautiful flowers! We haven’t seen snapdragons before! You look really cute beside them!

Sunshine, weeds are good, but I’ve never tried eating flowers. They just don’t smell like they would be edible.
