My person is the slowest walker sometimes. I can’t believe she keeps finding more flowers to take pictures of. I think she must have taken a picture of every flower on my trails. She must think so too because today we went a different way than we usually go so she could find more flowers to take pictures of.
At least this different way is longer than my usual way so I got to be out on my trails longer, but it was stop and go all the way.
Okay, I admit I made my person stop a few times too. But this log was really interesting and I don’t know when we’ll be this way again so I’ve got to check it out.
Just because I stopped once doesn’t mean my person has to keep stopping. We were almost home and she found even more flowers to take pictures of.
I’m really mad now because if my person hadn’t stopped so much we would have made it home before that rabbit ran out of my yard. If I’d only been a few minutes earlier I could have checked that rabbit out too.

May 26, 2012 at 10:49 am
I’m getting really mad now..I already left a comment but it did not stay where I put it..
You’re a funny fella Bongo but I does love ya! xxx
May 26, 2012 at 11:48 am
Patreciau, your other comment came in strange and my person had to approve it. I love you too.
May 26, 2012 at 11:11 am
Sorry your walk was slow. The flowers are beautiful, though. I think maybe they were worth the wait.
May 26, 2012 at 11:49 am
Shary, I guess the flowers will go away one of these days and I can go back to normal walks again.
May 26, 2012 at 11:12 am
Those are beautiful flowers Bongo….Why dont you try to admire them like your person does.
I Know, its not fun as a nice big tree branch, but you might like it.
May 26, 2012 at 11:50 am
Penny, those flowers are all attached to prickler things. I think the wood is safer, and it has more interesting smells on it.
May 26, 2012 at 12:24 pm
Poor Bongo, seems like you’re never gonna get to play with that rabbit! Darn it….
May 26, 2012 at 3:15 pm
Jaz, I know if my person would stop taking pictures we’d make it back home before that rabbit runs off and it would have time to play with me.
May 26, 2012 at 1:48 pm
Oh those flowers are absolutely beautiful, especially that first photo. Ooops, not as beautiful as you Bongo & certainly not as sweet I’m sure.
May 26, 2012 at 3:16 pm
Thanks Diane. I think my person should just keep taking pictures of me.
May 29, 2012 at 8:43 am
Flowers come & go Bongo… but your smile is lovely year round.
May 29, 2012 at 10:00 am
Thank you Diane. You are so sweet.
Chancy and Mumsy
May 26, 2012 at 3:34 pm
Oh, sweet Bongo we don’t like to stop and go either…we prefer to run full steam ahead but we sure are enjoying all those beautiful flower pictures. Hugs and nose kisses
May 26, 2012 at 5:54 pm
Chancy and Mumsy, I’m having a really hard time with patience when my person takes those pictures, but I guess I’ll have to do it. Hugs and nose kisses back to you.
May 26, 2012 at 5:38 pm
The flowers are a beautiful part of God’s creation, Bongo. Enjoy them–best you can…
May 26, 2012 at 5:56 pm
Patricia, I guess it’s the price I have to pay for taking my person along on my walks.
May 26, 2012 at 5:41 pm
Great photos 🙂
May 26, 2012 at 5:56 pm
Thanks Seasonsgirl. And thanks for stopping by and commenting.

May 26, 2012 at 6:39 pm
Bongo we think your person owes you a jog after this slow walk.
Bella and DiDi
May 26, 2012 at 6:53 pm
Bella and DiDi, I agree. And my person needs to leave her camera at home.
May 26, 2012 at 11:00 pm
Bongo, look at the bright sight of this story: at least your person made one photo of you 😀
May 26, 2012 at 11:01 pm
Angels Whisper, my person sometimes sneaks when I’m not looking and gets pictures of me.
May 27, 2012 at 1:58 am
Bongo, please forgive your person as we, the subscribers of your blog, can enjoy those beautiful flower photos because of your person!!! My mom loves flowers, too because she thinks that they make her feel cheerful and happy! *whispers* Personally I love pee on them though…heeehee… 🙂
May 27, 2012 at 1:50 pm
Kevin, my person says she’s glad your mom enjoys the flowers. I’m with you though. Peeing on them is great. You have to be careful of those prickly ones though.
May 27, 2012 at 3:53 am
You sure do have some pretty flowers to look at on your walks Bongo!
May 27, 2012 at 1:51 pm
Bassetmomma, my person says last year we hardly had any wildflowers and this year they must be making up for what they missed last year. There are lots of flowers.
May 27, 2012 at 9:01 am
What beautiful flowers Bongo!! At least if your person is going to walk slow, you have something nice to look at– err relieve yourself on 🙂 🙂 Have a great rest of the weekend!
May 27, 2012 at 1:52 pm
Deanna, I guess I have been getting extra time to leave lots of messages.
May 27, 2012 at 4:50 pm
LOL… great post! Ginger says….. grab the camera and run she will follow you till YOU decide to stop! heheheh
May 27, 2012 at 5:37 pm
Great idea Ginger. Today I needed to grab the camera and her phone – but she finally decided to get moving again because the “no see ’ems” were bugging us.
May 28, 2012 at 1:38 am
Oh, shame about that rabbit but then you had a longer walk… Can’t have it all
May 28, 2012 at 1:23 pm
Marina, I hope that rabbit comes back. I really want to
chaseplay with it.
May 28, 2012 at 2:26 am
Hey Bongo, Jet here.
See, if Mom didn’t take you on a different trail on the scent (get it… scent!) for new flowers you would not have seen the log… the rabbit will visit again, I just know it!
Mom asked me to share that she looks forward to the flower pictures because we live in a very different place with way different flowers. Mom thinks your Mom’s flower pictures are beautiful. 🙂
May 28, 2012 at 1:26 pm
Hey Jet, my person says thanks. I guess sometimes I have to sacrifice so people can enjoy those pictures. Those flowers seem normal to me, but my person says only people who live near or in a desert have the kind of flowers we have. I’m still waiting for that rabbit to come back.
May 28, 2012 at 3:25 pm
Hey Bongo, Jet here.
Tell person, most welcome… I know, we think mangos and palm fronds (excellent empty the tank spots) are the norm…
Have patience, the rabbit will return… I just know it!
May 28, 2012 at 5:38 pm
Hey Jet, I’m still waiting for that rabbit. Patience is hard for me.
May 29, 2012 at 2:56 am
Dude, me too…I woke Mom at 4:45 and she’s just now inviting us to breakfast (6 a.m.) she’s strict abut that…
May 28, 2012 at 5:58 am
We have a slow walker here too!
May 28, 2012 at 1:30 pm
Brown Newfies, maybe we can get behind out people and give them a little push.
May 30, 2012 at 3:36 am
Hey Bongo, i always get a little envious of your walks on the trails! You get to see cool things like logs and beautiful beautiful flowers! Most times on my walk, i see cars, and vehicles, and roads!
May 30, 2012 at 12:40 pm
Popcorn, my person says I don’t know how good I have it having my trails so close by, but I sure like going out on them.
July 30, 2012 at 2:27 pm
Stop and go … that’s Life Bongo.
July 30, 2012 at 2:31 pm
Sandra, at least most of the flowers are gone for this year. Now my person keeps taking pictures of clouds. She says she really likes the cloud formations we get this time of year. I guess a dog just can’t win.
