Stop and Go

26 May

Pink Cholla FlowersMy person is the slowest walker sometimes. I can’t believe she keeps finding more flowers to take pictures of. I think she must have taken a picture of every flower on my trails. She must think so too because today we went a different way than we usually go so she could find more flowers to take pictures of.

At least this different way is longer than my usual way so I got to be out on my trails longer, but it was stop and go all the way.

.

Bongo Sniffing a Termite Log

Okay, I admit I made my person stop a few times too. But this log was really interesting and I don’t know when we’ll be this way again so I’ve got to check it out.

Just because I stopped once doesn’t mean my person has to keep stopping. We were almost home and she found even more flowers to take pictures of.

Red Cholla Flowers

I’m really mad now because if my person hadn’t stopped so much we would have made it home before that rabbit ran out of my yard. If I’d only been a few minutes earlier I could have checked that rabbit out too.

Sorry your walk was slow. The flowers are beautiful, though. I think maybe they were worth the wait.

Shary, I guess the flowers will go away one of these days and I can go back to normal walks again.

I Know, its not fun as a nice big tree branch, but you might like it.

Penny, those flowers are all attached to prickler things. I think the wood is safer, and it has more interesting smells on it.

Poor Bongo, seems like you’re never gonna get to play with that rabbit! Darn it….

Jaz, I know if my person would stop taking pictures we’d make it back home before that rabbit runs off and it would have time to play with me.

Thanks Diane. I think my person should just keep taking pictures of me.

Chancy and Mumsy, I’m having a really hard time with patience when my person takes those pictures, but I guess I’ll have to do it. Hugs and nose kisses back to you.

Bongo, please forgive your person as we, the subscribers of your blog, can enjoy those beautiful flower photos because of your person!!! My mom loves flowers, too because she thinks that they make her feel cheerful and happy! *whispers* Personally I love pee on them though…heeehee… 🙂

Kevin, my person says she’s glad your mom enjoys the flowers. I’m with you though. Peeing on them is great. You have to be careful of those prickly ones though.

Bassetmomma, my person says last year we hardly had any wildflowers and this year they must be making up for what they missed last year. There are lots of flowers.

What beautiful flowers Bongo!! At least if your person is going to walk slow, you have something nice to look at– err relieve yourself on 🙂 🙂 Have a great rest of the weekend!

Great idea Ginger. Today I needed to grab the camera and her phone – but she finally decided to get moving again because the “no see ’ems” were bugging us.

    Hey Bongo, Jet here.

See, if Mom didn’t take you on a different trail on the scent (get it… scent!) for new flowers you would not have seen the log… the rabbit will visit again, I just know it!

Mom asked me to share that she looks forward to the flower pictures because we live in a very different place with way different flowers. Mom thinks your Mom’s flower pictures are beautiful. 🙂

Hey Jet, my person says thanks. I guess sometimes I have to sacrifice so people can enjoy those pictures. Those flowers seem normal to me, but my person says only people who live near or in a desert have the kind of flowers we have. I’m still waiting for that rabbit to come back.

        Hey Bongo, Jet here.

Tell person, most welcome… I know, we think mangos and palm fronds (excellent empty the tank spots) are the norm…

Have patience, the rabbit will return… I just know it!

Hey Bongo, i always get a little envious of your walks on the trails! You get to see cool things like logs and beautiful beautiful flowers! Most times on my walk, i see cars, and vehicles, and roads!

Popcorn, my person says I don’t know how good I have it having my trails so close by, but I sure like going out on them.

Sandra, at least most of the flowers are gone for this year. Now my person keeps taking pictures of clouds. She says she really likes the cloud formations we get this time of year. I guess a dog just can’t win.
