Come on person, let go of my leash. Or at least let it out so I have a chance of yanking it out of your hand.
Person, I really want to go play.
You’re always getting your camera out and making me wait while you take pictures. Why aren’t you doing it now?
Person, that’s a real pretty dog over there. Take some pictures. And while you’re distracted with the camera I’ll go over and play. You can get pictures of both of us together.
Let go of my collar, person. What’s wrong with going over and playing for a few minutes?
Maybe if I get up on my back feet and dig in I can pull away from my person.
Hey person, where are we going? I want to play with that dog over there. We never go back this way. Let’s go back the usual way. That way I can play with that dog.
What do you mean you don’t want me to play with that dog? I don’t care what its name is. Dogs don’t pay attention to other dog’s names. They just play.
I don’t see anything wrong with that name. I think coyote is a nice name.

Angels Whisper, I really want to play – or at least give that dog a sniff – but my person won’t let me. What is it with you people?

Coyote is a nice name but the “dog” with that name is a loner and doesn’t like to play nice. Your person was wise to keep you on a short leash this time.

Patricia, you don’t think that dog would want to play with me? I thought everyone wanted to play with me.

He might play but he wouldn’t play nice and that’s not fun.

Bongo something told me you were going to say coyote! You definitely do not want to play with them they don’t play nice I hear so please listen to your person 🙂

Misty Shores, I guess it’s a good thing that coyote doesn’t come around very often then. At least where I can see her.

Whoa! Sweet Bongo you gotta watch out for those dogs named “Coyote” they don’t make good play buds. We are glad your person held back on your leash on that adventure. Hugs and nose kisses

Chancy and Mumsy, I think my person can get a better grip on my new leash than she could on my old one. I used to be able to pull it out of her hand. I guess I won’t be running after any more coyotes for awhile. Hugs and nose kisses back to you.

OMD! Bongo, we don’t have dogs named “Coyote” around here but I’ve heard that those doggies who have names “Coyote” are notorious! Better stay away from them! They probably just pretending they are friendly and cute!

Kevin, my person says one lone coyote will lure a big dog into the pack and then go after him. I still want to go play, but I guess my person has the final say – since she won’t let go of my leash.

iti may have been beautiful and may have looked fun but anyone with a name like Coyote is best left alone…..not what you could call a playful animals unless he plays with another coyote

Patreciau, nobody seems to like those coyotes. I guess I’ll find somebody else to play with.

Scratchy never wants to play with me. I think I’m going to have to go find one of the neighbor dogs.

Hey Bongo! We usually like to keep things lighthearted but we had a pack of coyotes here for a while. They love to have you chase them and lead you to their pack where they eat you. That happened here and some neighbors went out and took care of business so they wouldnt eat anymore dogs. Be careful our friend…… Way to go to your person for protecting you. 🙂

Collies, my person told me the same thing about coyotes. She has a cousin who lost a dog that way. I guess I’ve got to listen to her since she won’t let go of my leash anyway.

I’m not as friendly as you are, Bongo and I always want to chase off the coyotes, but my person won’t let me near them. Then I found out that my friends learned the hard way. They went out of their yard to play with one coyote and found a pack. They were lucky to escape with only stitches.

Lola, shortly after my person got me we came across three coyotes attacking a little dog on my trails. Lucky for that little dog that we came by because the coyotes ran when they saw us. My person keeps telling me that coyotes will go after big dogs too.

It’s true. My friends who got attacked are Rhodesian ridgebacks. Not small dogs at all.

Coyote’s have been done some injustice [“beep beep”], however I think this kind of “dog” only plays with similar “dogs” all named coyote. Funny huh?!

September 9, 2012 at 10:42 pm
Marina, I wonder why someone would give all their dogs the same name.

YouKai, my person says that the coyote will lure a big dog into their pack and then attack and sometimes kill it. My person and I came across three coyotes attacking a little dog once. That little dog was lucky we showed up when we did.

Dogs seem to be pretty accepting of diversity – and willing to let things be as they are.
Still, Persons do know a little more about dangers in the world, so you have to trust them sometimes – even if it doesn’t make dog sense.
