They’re Everywhere!

11 Sep

Flower on VineThis time of year vines start growing around here. I think they like all the rain we’ve had, because we seem to have more vines than usual.

.

.

.

.

.

They’re growing all over the cactus.

Vine growing over cactus

They climbed up my neighbor’s mailbox.

They’ve even been covering the rocks.

Vine over Rocks

Hey person, let’s get moving. If you keep slowing down to take pictures of those vines they’re going to be crawling all over you.

It’s a good thing I’m an active dog. No vine would ever think of getting on me.

    Don’t turn around, Bongo!

I’m happy to hear you are considering mentioning the “Bongo apparel line” to your person. I’m ready to get my tee 🙂

your vines have very pretty trumpet flowers and I am sure that you would look real dapper covered in red flowers

Patreciau, do you think a wreath on my head would go with my sunglasses?

Beautiful! I love summer, but I’m looking forward to our winter flowers.

Shary, we don’t have many winter flowers where we are – most of them come in the spring, so these vine flowers are special since there aren’t many flowers this time of year.

Although you’d look great in vines, I’d keep moving if I were you!

Misaki, I guess I’d better stay out of that corner of my yard.

They are pretty vines with the orange blossoms but you better keep moving!

Misty Shores, maybe I should encourage my person to keep taking pictures of them. They might wrap their way around her camera and take it from her.

Awwwww….Bongo, you are irresistibly cute!!! I wish I would go there and would give you hugs hugs.
The vines look like morning glory! The lolor is lovely! 🙂

Thanks Kevin. My person says she doesn’t know what these vines are. We have some morning glories that are blooming right now that are much bigger flowers and they are white. I guess I’ll have to get my person to do some research.

Dianda, my person loves them too – especially when they have pretty flowers. I think they’re fine as long as they don’t crawl on me.

Karen, I think I’ll have to walk fast – to get away from those vines.

Hey Bongo, don’t have to tell ME about vines all over the place. I had to “help” in the yard these past couple of days & my feet & butt kept getting all tangled up. Been a lot of hard work around here lately…Lola

      September 13, 2012 at 6:30 pm

Lola, maybe I’m lucky my person doesn’t let me help her in the yard. For some reason she thinks I’ll run off if I do. I don’t know how she got that idea. I hope you got all untangled.

Thanks Collies. My person tried to take a picture of a different kind of vine and I watered it first.
