I found The Plant Lady’s car at the parking lot of my trails today. Her sign said “ Touch of Green.”
So I started looking around at all the plants on my trails.
.
.
.
.
.
Yup, there’s not a lot of green here.
Not much green here either. I guess those prickly pear cacti and the juniper trees are kind of green. But look at all that gray and brown stuff.
This tree really needs some more green in it.
I think that plant lady has her work cut out for her. I hope she’s got a lot of energy.
What, person? What are you talking about?
What do you mean, that plant lady does interior plantscaping?
You mean she’s not going to turn my trails green?
Then what’s she doing here? Oh, no. Maybe she’s stealing the little green that there is out here so she can put it inside something.
What, person? You think she’s just here to go for a walk?
You mean she’s not going to make anything green?
Well, in that case…
I guess I’ve got to take care of it myself.

Marina, you’d think if they’re going to put a sign on their car they’d stick to business.

Well, I think you earn a new title by doing this, Bongo: “Bongo’s gardening” 😀

Angel’s Whisper, I like that title. I’ve been doing more of that. The dirt in my person’s garden area is usually too hard and dry to dig, but since we had a little snow it’s nice and soft now so I’ve been digging in it. Woo woo!

Way to water that plant, Bongo! I think you should get your very own Touch of Green truck!

Remy, that’s a great idea. Then I could go water everyone’s plants.

Benny & Lily, my trails would probably keep her busy until spring. She wouldn’t have to worry about getting another job all winter.

Great job Bongo, you can start bringing back all the green on your trails a little at a time. Then all the green will be back 🙂

Lexie and Mica, I’ve got to be careful though. I only want the green back. Once those flowers start showing up I have to keep waiting while my person takes pictures.

Ha-ha! Now that’s a good way to get rid of the green Bongo!

Brown Newfies, you mean I caused all the green to go away? I’ve been watering all this stuff for awhile. Oops!

I think Mother Nature has plans for your trails, so no worries.

January 7, 2013 at 8:59 pm
Patricia, maybe I’ll find Mother Nature’s car parked at the trailhead.

I think she flies–has her own wings. Just my thought–could be wrong. Let me know if you see her in a car.

Bongo, if you want something done sometimes it’s better to do it yourself! Good job:-)

Thanks Misaki. I’ve been finding that’s true. Doing it yourself is sometimes the best way to go.

Not a lot of green, but what a view, wow!
Bongo
January 8, 2013 at 7:30 pm
Dianda, we do have a pretty good view here with lots of red in the distance. I guess if we had more green it would be Christmas every day.
