Scratchy, you knocked my food cup down. What do you think you’re doing?
You’re getting even? For what? I didn’t do anything.
What do you mean, our my person looks like she’s crying and I made her do it? She’s probably crying because she has to go pick up my food cup. And if that’s the case, you made her cry.
.
.
.
.
And she’s crying because I messed up the bed while she was gone?
Scratchy, you know you were on that bed too.
And she’s crying for what?
She’s not supposed to know about that. Did you tell?
Besides, Ginger from Collies of the Meadow and I were just joking about throwing those burning cats over the wall of Jericho. And you were on our person’s Facebook account too.
And what else is she crying about?
Because I kept jumping up and down next to her when she was on the computer after I’d already been out twice?
It’s really cold out there. I couldn’t do all my business in one trip.
Hey person, you didn’t cry because I had to go out extra, did you?
You what? You went to a really sad movie and it made you cry?
See Scratchy, it wasn’t me after all.
Person, the next time you go to a movie you’d better let me pick it out.

What movie did your person see, Bongo?

January 15, 2013 at 12:06 pm
Sweet Kitten, my person says she saw Les Miserables. The new one where all the lines are sung instead of spoken. She says it was really good – and she never thought she’d see Russell Crowe singing.

That must have been a really sad movie…what movie was it? We are happy sweet Bongo that you or sweet Scratchy didn’t make her cry. Hugs and nose kisses

Chancy and Mumsy, my person says she saw Les Miserables – the new one that’s a musical. She says it was a really good movie. I’m sure glad I didn’t get blamed for making her cry too. Hugs and nose kisses back to you.

I bet seeing you in that pose made her smile though, didn’t it?!!!
🙂
PS Why go out and see a movie when you have such a resourceful pet for hours of entertainment!!!!! [Bongo, you didn’t hear me say that, did you?!]

Marina, I heard it and I agree. I think my person should always hang out around me. What more could she want?

I’d like to know who messed up the bed? I am like your momma when I watch sad movies, the tears fall like a flowing river and my Daddy says to turn it off and I say ‘ no it’s a good film’ Ah there is no hope!

January 15, 2013 at 12:44 pm
Patricia, I’ve been trying to convince my person that she forgot to make her bed, but for some reason she doesn’t believe me.

It was definitely good. But I don’t feel the need to see it again any time soon!

What about Wonderbutt? He might like to see it – or at least he’d enjoy running up and down the aisles and stealing popcorn.

Thanks for you vote of confidence Misaki. I think you’re right. I could never do anything to make my person cry. I’m the best dog ever, except for you.

Crying can be scary. Sometimes some extra licks will help.
Love and lots of extra licks for your mom,

Cupcake, those are the best kind of licks too. They taste kind of salty.

It’s very hard for us to understand why our humans cry. It is seldom about us although we always feel at fault. What do we do with humans?!
Bongo
January 16, 2013 at 8:31 pm
Lexie and Mica, humans are awfully hard to figure out sometimes. But I still think they’re easier than cats.

OMD! You and Scratchy messed up your person’s bed!? How lucky you are! Oops!
Wow! Your person saw ” Les Miserable” ? My mom says that she is gonna see it this Saturday, so I told her to bring a big towel!!! Now she is so excited to see it! 🙂
Bongo
January 16, 2013 at 8:36 pm
Kevin, it’s really fun messing up my person’s bed but I can only get away with it when she leaves the house. My person says your mom will probably really like Les Miserables. It’s really good. And she’ll probably only need the big towel at the very end – maybe a little towel a few times before that.

I am going to see this on Sunday at the local cinema. Thanks Bongo for lertting me know to take a huge wad of tissues with me. And Scratchy – stop winding Bogo up – yes, I know that is what you live for lol, but a bit of empathy goes a long way.
Bongo
January 16, 2013 at 8:38 pm
Susan, I told Scratchy what you said to him and he turned up his nose and walked away. My person says you might not cry all through Les Miserables, but you’ll for sure need the wad of tissues at the end. She says the movie is really good.

Musicals usually make you cheery – but this one must make you think, too. Sounds good.
(Oh, the crying here?…muddy paws. Oh the muddy paws. And more muddy paws! But perking up with sun today!)
Bongo
January 16, 2013 at 8:45 pm
Karen, you shouldn’t cry about muddy paws. Just go out and squish in the mud too. It’s fun! My person says Les Miserables definitely makes you think. She says she really enjoyed it.
