Sometimes I miss when I’m trying to catch the ball. The other day it bounced off my nose and landed right next to Scratchy. And Scratchy wouldn’t throw the ball back to me. I’ve really got to train that cat better.
This time the ball bounced off my nose and landed in the corner. There used to be enough room between the couches for me to squeeze through, but for some reason that space disappeared. I managed to get behind those couches though and retrieve my ball.
But now I have another problem.
.
I got my ball out, but now how do I get out?
There must be a way to get from here to there.
That floor looks so close – and yet so far away.
It can’t be that hard. I manage to get over the fence in the backyard. This would be so much easier except I don’t have room to get a running jump.
Oh wait, this will work.
And you thought I’d never make it, didn’t you?

snort – that situation reminds me of the time I got stuck behind the sofa. All you could see was my butt in the air and my legs moving but I wasn’t going anywhere – double snort my friend. XOXO – Bacon

Bacon, let me know next time and I’ll come pull you out. That is, after I get my person’s camera away from her so I can take a picture.

Never doubted you’d do it, Bongo!!!! I’ve got to admit though that you look really nice in that corner!!
🙂

Marina, I think my person liked me in that corner because it was harder for me to do any mischief. But that’s why it was so important to get out of there.

Rumpy, you noticed. I think Scratchy was laughing at me. I’d better give him what for.

I never had a doubt Bongo. You do get your self into some funny predicaments though. Hee,hee.

Sherrell, I guess it’s okay to get into predicaments as long as I can get back out of them. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

I knew you could make it Bongo. Being a plus size kinda girl I have a hard time myself with tight spaces…Lola

Lola, if you ever lose a ball in a tight place I’ll be there to get it out for you. That way you won’t get stuck.

Nice work, B.! You are a problem solver. When I get stuck behind something, I just stand there till Mom starts moving furniture and saying my brain is the size of a pea.

Wow it was touch and go for a bit – you will have to stash some treats back there for next time! This morning typists dog decided he wanted to play ball when she was in the shower – dropped the ball into the bath so the meany refused to throw it!!
Bongo
April 23, 2013 at 3:03 pm
Dalton, sometimes I don’t think our people get it. They’re always supposed to throw the ball no matter what. I’d leave some treats back there in that corner, but then I’d have to keep going back there.

Bongo, you are such an athletic guy with beautiful long legs – I’m sure that you are excellent at high jump, too!
Bongo

Kolytyi, my person says I’m too good at jumping – because I can jump over the fence in the backyard. And when I’m at the dog hotel they call me the happy jumping dog.

We get stuck sometimes and are too big too just jump out. We had confidence in you Bongo after all you have been an escape expert. Good job and keep your nose out of the way 🙂

April 24, 2013 at 3:15 pm
Lexie and Mica, sometimes you’ve got to jump – sometimes you’ve got to climb. I guess the trick to being and escape expert is knowing which one to do when.

Ginger says chew your way out! That will teach them to throw the ball back there… Muwahahaha
Bongo
April 27, 2013 at 1:42 pm
Ginger, I think I’d get in serious trouble if I did that – because I accidentally knocked the ball back there when I tried to catch it. I’ll have to find a different excuse to chew my way out.
