You already ate some and that one’s just sitting there. I don’t think you’re hungry anymore.
You’re not going to give it to me? Why not?
You’re going to take it with you?
But it will get cold, and dried up, and shriveled.
You’d better give it to me.
It’s just sitting there on the table.
You don’t want it anyway.
Where are you taking that?
You’re not putting it in the fridge, are you?
It’ll sit there and turn hard. Then nobody will eat it. You’ll throw it out and it will go to waste.
You’d better give it to me.
What? Wait – that’s getting awfully close to my nose.
You’re not teasing me, are you?
Is it really for me?
It’s for me?
Woo hoo! Mine!
A note to all my readers out there: No dog was harmed by eating this burger. You actually saw me eat burger shaped dog food. I would never in any way, shape, or form, ever consider eating anything unhealthy.

[love the note to readers – well of course!]
Your person had you there, didn’t she?!!!
I know these thoughts all too well! Like your friend over here, you are very talented in mind control and telepathy! You project your burgers…err thoughts so well!

Thanks Marina. I’ve got my people all figured out. They do what I want without even realizing it.

Grandma, fooling is fun – as long as I get treats in the end. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Susan, I hardly ever get special treats like this so I really had to work on it. Do you think it was my sad, sorry look that did it?

Burgers are good! It looks like you got a special treat, probably because you’re such a good boy.

Susan, does that mean I should get special treats every day? I’m always a good boy!???

What a yummy treat! You are a lucky dog, B. mom would’ve broken it into 52 pieces and given me one a day for 52 days. Being tiny is tougher than it looks.
Love and licks,

Cupcake, maybe if you ate the first piece really fast your mom would give you more.

Ah you got it in the end..I was going to suggest that you tell them you saw a fly land on it…then they would have given it to you…I personally don’t like hamburgers but you obviously do..so I hope that you enjoyed it ….maybe i would like hamburger if I made it myself but never eat shop ones…yuck!

Patrecia, I’ll eat any kind of hamburgers. I’m not picky. But I think I’ll remember that fly thing for next time. My younger person will probably go for it.

Kevin, that burger shaped dog food even tastes like a real burger. You’ll have to get your mom to find some for you. I think they come from McDonald’s.

Benny & Lily, it doesn’t happen here very often either, but my younger person was full and he was leaving for his college place in a little while. Guess I just got lucky.

Bongo, you’ve got it made – that’s a great score…usually I have to grab mine off the counter & then there’s all sorts of yelling going on which I don’t know what that’s all about – people are just funny about food sometimes.

Lola, I usually wait until my people leave the house to check for things on the counter – but for some reason I hardly ever find any good stuff there any more. I was really lucky with that burger. It doesn’t happen very often.
