Naked Bugs

21 Jun

Cicada ExoskeletonI hope I didn’t gross anyone out with this picture here. I told my person to leave the other one off. It was grosser.

I thought maybe I was in an alien science fiction movie when I saw these things.

People say there are aliens here – so maybe I’ve found some.

Or maybe this is something else.

These look like bug clothes to me – and they’re missing their bugs.

So that means there are some naked bugs flying around my trails.

I think I’ve seen some of them, but they’re so embarrassed that they get away quickly.

When I get near a tree where one of those naked bugs is hanging out, the bug makes a loud noise that sounds halfway between a chirp and a click, and then flies off really fast.

It’s too bad that bug flies off so fast. If it would just stick around for a few minutes I could tell it where its clothes are.

Or maybe it doesn’t want its clothes.

I’ve heard of people that like to go around naked. I’ve never seen any, but I’ve heard about them.

Maybe these bugs are like those people.

Is there a nudist colony for bugs?

I wonder if there’s a place on my trails where a whole bunch of naked bugs hang out together.

That sounds like a pretty scary place.

I wonder if they allow their nymphs to go there.

I think I’ll wander on home now.

I’m hoping not to find that naked bug nudist colony for nymphs anytime soon.

Marina, it really would be a frightening thought. But I made it home safely without finding anything.

Grandma, they make lots of noise so they’re easy to avoid. Just stay away from the noise.

Is that a cicada? We have cicadas, lots and lots of them here. I hear them, very noisy creatures, and see their clothes on my balcony sometimes. But I have never seen a naked one.

Patricia, it is a cicada. We only have a few of them on my trails, but my person says down by the creek they make a deafening sound. That must be where all the naked ones are hanging out.

Hi Bongo,,,,we, too,,,have heard the cicada symphony and it can be annoyingly loud,,,and performing their symphony while,,,nekkid,,,doesn’t help either. At least they are not around every year,,,so be careful while they are with you this hear.

Speakdoggie, at least those cicadas don’t get too loud on my trails. My person says they’re deafening down by the creek, but I haven’t been to the creek when the cicadas are around. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Why do those bugs think that your trails are their bathroom where they can sing naked?

Kolytyi, I don’t know what those bugs are thinking, but I think maybe I should send them down by the creek where most of those bugs hang out.

We don’t know if there is a nudist colony for bugs sweet Bongo. We do know we had bugs clothes and naked bugs here at our place a few years ago. One good thing is they don’t hang around for long and wait a long time to come back. Hugs and nose kisses

Chancy and Mumsy, I didn’t see any naked bugs yesterday so maybe they already left the area.

Collies, my person stayed at a house once with naked cats. It makes me sick just to think about it.
