One of my friends came over today and I was really happy to see him. He hardly ever comes over here so it was a special treat.
Until I discovered that all he wanted to do was say hi to Gizmo.
This is becoming a regular pattern around here. What’s going on? Why am I losing out to a cat so often lately?

Besides, I don’t think Gizmo likes being held. I’d never hold him.

When I said to put him down I just meant on the floor or the couch.
Gizmo, what are you doing in there? This is terrible.
I wouldn’t wish a cage on anyone. Not even a cat.
Well, maybe Scratchy. But he always gets out of his cage eventually.
Hold on Gizmo! I’ll rescue you.
Maybe if I push this thing over we’ll find a way for you to escape.
Noooo! Where are you going Gizmo?
Your younger person’s house? That’s one of your younger people? How many people do you have anyway?
This is terrible! Just when I was getting used to having Gizmo around.
Oh, ummm. I mean, good riddance Gizmo. One less cat around to harass me.
Scratchy, don’t you have an extra younger person around that can take you away?

Ohhhhh, I too got used to Gizmo and am sad to see him go…
Maybe now Scratchy will feel differently about hanging around and playing with you!

Marina, Scratchy hasn’t been hanging out on the tops of the cabinets since Gizmo left, but he’s still not hanging out with me.

Rumpy, it is kind of disappointing having only one cat to harass. I found a cat in my backyard today but it ran off as soon as I went outside.

Cupcake, I think Gizmo would have been playing with me if he’d hung around a bit longer. Scratchy never wants to play. Maybe I could get our younger person to take Scratchy to his apartment. But if not, Gizmo has more younger people. Maybe one of them would take Scratchy away.

Lola, I think Scratch lost weight and Gizmo gained weight while Gizmo was here. Scratchy likes to nibble so there’s almost always food in his dish until I get into it. But Gizmo kept beating me to it. I will have to check out going to visit Gizmo. That might be fun.

How do we get in contact with those ppl so we can get rid of our cats? Speaking of cats.. I Ginger know these ppl who for a few treats can make scratchy disappear….. they do charge interest and ask for a few favors in return… but they do make the cat disappear! Muwahahahaha

Ginger, I’ll keep that in mind. I’m still hoping Scratchy will have a younger person that I don’t know about that will come and take him away. I didn’t have to pay anything to get rid of Gizmo.
