I found it! I found it! I’m rich! I’m rich!
I just found the best treasure ever on my trails.
I didn’t have to dig for it. It’s not a buried treasure.
No. It’s right here in plain sight.
Well, it’s a little ways off my trail and that’s probably why nobody found it before me.
But now I found it, and it’s mine.
.
Oh, you can’t tell what this plant is that’s hanging out behind me?
It’s a money tree! And it’s all mine.
Can you imagine what I can do with all the money from this tree?
All the treats I can buy?
I’ll be in treat heaven. And then everybody will be coming and giving me loves so they can have some of my treats.
What? You can’t tell this is a money tree?
Check this out.
Do you see the coins hanging on this tree?
Look. They’re all over it.
Now don’t get any ideas.
I found this tree and it’s mine.
I’m not telling anyone where it is.
But if you’re real nice to me…
I might give you a coin so you can buy a treat.

Oh please, Bongo, I’ve been looking for a money tree for years.
My family seems to think I have one already!

Grandma, I think my person has a money tree stashed away too, but she keeps telling me she doesn’t – especially after I tear up one of my toys. Sometimes I have to wait for a new one.

Oh, Bongo, you are a millionaire!!!! But, hang on… you are rich anyway aren’t you?!!!
Beautiful tree, although I think it would look even nicer if instead of those coins, fish were hanging, huh?!
🙂

Marina, you’re so right. A fish tree would be great. Do you have fish trees where you live? My person said they would probably look more like fish seaweed – but I don’t know what seaweed is. Does it taste good?

I hear it’s rejuvenating but I haven’t tasted it. My hubby says it tastes good (he likes sushi, as you would too!)
The answer is yes, lots of seaweed trees and fish trees!!!

Cupcake, our people don’t know everything. Or maybe they just tell us things like that so they don’t have to buy us extra treats.

I wish I had a money tree but Diane keeps telling me “money doesn’t grow on trees ya know” – she says that every time I beg for more & more bacon. Maybe pigs should grow on trees & I can grow my own bacon…Lola

June 24, 2013 at 1:35 pm
Lola, that would be really interesting. A pig tree. I’ll have to look around and see if I can find one of those.

Little Binky, I’m for sure watering my tree. I sure hope I don’t run out of money though. It’s my ticket for extra treats.

How wonderful…a money tree. But don’t spend all at once. Save some for when you really really need a treat.

June 24, 2013 at 10:00 pm
Patricia, I might keep one or two coins for something special.

Champ’s Mom, my person tried to find my money tree on the internet and had no luck so we don’t know what it’s really called. It’s my one of a kind bush. We haven’t found any more like it.

Bongo
June 25, 2013 at 11:21 am
Dalton, my person said they had lots of crowns at her Kingdom Rock Vacation Bible School. Maybe I can get one of those for cheap. That way I’ll have more money left to buy treats for my friends.

Benny & Lily, great idea. The coins from my money tree have seeds in them. I could send you a coin and you can grow your own money tree. All my friends are going to have unlimited treats soon.

Hey Bongo,
What a cool find buddy!! You’re gonna be one happy dog, don’t spend it all at once though! 🙂
Big wags,
Your pal Snoopy 🙂

June 25, 2013 at 11:23 am
Snoopy, I’m hoping my money will last so I can have extra treats all year. And then next year there should be a new crop of money.

Oh, Bongo, you are a really lucky doggy! I’ve found a similar tree, too, but its coins were so small that I could have bought only a cake for its whole crop!
Bongo
June 25, 2013 at 11:24 am
Kolytyi, I’ll have to send you one of my coins. Then you can plant it and have lots of good sized coins for cakes.

Now that’s one happy dog.
Seriously that last picture looks like a money shot to me!
Somebody is bound to know what that tree is….unless it’s from outer space….keep an eye on it Bongo!
Bongo
June 25, 2013 at 1:30 pm
Karen, I’m wondering now. Could my money tree have come from outer space? Some people here say we have aliens and UFOs. Maybe they brought that money tree just for me.

Ginger, I’ll send you some coins than you can plant your own money tree. And thanks for the doggie land mines idea. I’ve usually dropped them before I get to that money tree. I’ll have to hold on to them a little bit longer.
