Mischief: Week Two

30 Sep

Bongo with a tennis ball in his mouthThis is the second week in a row that I’ve had to post mischief about my people.

I don’t know what such a perfect dog is doing with such mischievous people.

I mean, how do I deserve this?

I guess I’d better tell you what happened.

First, my person left early in the morning.

I didn’t worry too much.

I figured she’d be back soon and take me for a walk on my trails.

Well, she came back all right.

And you know what she did?

She picked up my younger person and they both left in her car.

Without me.

All I got was a little bathroom break in the backyard.

And when they got back home a long time later – I snuck a peek while my person put pictures on her my computer from that new camera of hers. You know, the one that she takes walks with and leaves me at home.

And I couldn’t believe what I saw.

Black bear

My people went and hung out with bears!

Brown bear with paws crossed

They went to a place called Bearizona – without me.

But that wasn’t the worst of it.

I can see maybe hanging out with bears for an afternoon.

But what else they did really makes me feel dejected.

Chicken with wild head feathers

They hung out with chickens.

    Loved the chicken..what a cute hairstyle…..
Now Bongo something must be done about you being abandoned in favor of bears etc….what do you suggest? What about a protest meeting, or go on strike……or get a petition and submit it to a higher power..like Mr Obama…….

Patrecia, I’ve sure got to do something. Maybe I could invite a bear to come to my house. That would take care of things.

Oh Bongo, so sorry you got left alone! But me and Nalle love bears! Our names mean “bear”. Woooowooooooo!

Ku, I’m thinking if I had bears here then my people wouldn’t have to leave to see them. Maybe you two could stop by for awhile.

Nothing’s worse than a in and out again – worst than just being one a long time! Unfair.
I think that chicken is scolding them to stop viewing the chickens and get home to their dog!

Karen, I think you’re right about that chicken. Who ever thought a chicken would stick up for me.

This is uncalled for, Bongo! Really?! I am speechless… I hope that at least they came back with loads and loads of ‘fish n’ treats’!!!! 🙂

    • Bongo

      September 30, 2013 at 10:03 pm

Marina, that’s the worst part. They stopped for dinner before they came home. They even brought doggie bags home – and then they ate that too and didn’t share.

Donna, I’m sure glad someone agrees with me. Who would want to go hang out with chickens when they have me?

That’s not fair, especially the chicken. I mean they hang around with people.. err animals you’d chase and eat. That demands a relationship therapy or dog owner therapy or dog entertainer therapy. At least the camera reveals to you what they are doing while they should take you out into the woods.

Stanze, I hope they bring that chicken home with them. Then I can give that chicken what for – and my people too.

Benny & Lily, my people should never be allowed to go to fun places unless they take me along.

This made me laught, hanging out with bears is like cheating 😛

    • Bongo

      September 30, 2013 at 10:08 pm

Daydreamer, it sure is cheating – or something. I can’t imagine why my people would want to hang out with bears when they have me.

  11. Will and Eko

    September 30, 2013 at 7:21 pm

Oh man, how could they! Was it a drive through? Eko came to a similar place with me. He thought it was a dog park, but we kept all the doors locked.

    • Bongo

      September 30, 2013 at 10:12 pm

Will, my people say part of it was a drive through, but another part was more like a zoo but with animals that live in the area – and dogs weren’t allowed in that part. I’m not sure why. All those other animals were allowed there.

You’re going to have to keep a tighter rein on your person Bongo@!!! First of all bears might look cute but they’re stinky & not even close to as cute as you are, but really – that chicken should be ashamed of himself for putting that silly hat on his head.

    • Bongo

      October 1, 2013 at 11:46 am

Diane and Lola, I thought the same thing about that chicken. At least my people could have hung out with normal chickens.

    Oh Bongo

As you know it seems we’ve got a problem! The humans are getting up to way too much mischief dude! We need a plan….. hmmmm……

    I hope you’re having a fun day,

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂

Snoopy, I agree. I think that you, me, and some of our other mischief maker dog friends need to get together and do something about this.

Little Binky, I’m glad you feel for me. It helps. That chicken would have been cooler though if I was there to chase it.
