Hey person, there’s something out there.
Can you hear it? Can you smell it?
I think it’s somebody that wants me to play.
What? What do you mean it would show itself if it wanted me to play?
Maybe it’s shy.
Maybe it’s scared of people, but likes to play with dogs.
Person, you’ve got to realize that maybe not everyone that likes me likes you too.
Come on. Let me go.
I’ve got to check this out.
Person, would you let go of my leash.
You’re not going to get lost.
I’ll come back for you when I’m done playing.
Now let go!
I don’t believe this. You’re going to make me leave that poor lonely creature behind and head home with you.
Hey person, my new friend followed me. My friend must really be lonely.
Maybe scared too. I’ve got to go check it out.
Person, let go of my leash now!
You’re not going to get lost. Our house is right over there.
I’ll be home as soon as I’m done playing. Maybe I’ll even bring my new friend home with me.
Don’t be scared. You’ll be fine.

Patricia, my person wouldn’t let me go looking. She says it’s probably a coyote trying to lure me in. I don’t know why she has such a problem with those coyotes.

What is it, Bongo?!!! I can’t see!
She is obviously scared of getting lost… maybe you shouldn’t leave her after all.

I think your person just wants to keep you safe. Some trails just aren’t.

What’s it? A snake? 😮
Bongo
October 18, 2013 at 7:17 pm
Stanze, my person usually doesn’t worry so much about snakes. She says it’s probably a coyote up to no good. I don’t know why she has such a problem with those coyotes. I think they just want to play.

If it wont come out for your person, she is worried for you, Bongo. Let it be. Be safe, not sorry, both of you. I have watched and read far too much Halloween stuff lately, Bongo, lol, this just put me on edge for you. Loves and hugs.

Susan, my person says it’s probably a coyote. Maybe it’s all dressed up for Halloween and that’s why she doesn’t want me playing with it.

I can’t see it. Is it a coyote that wants to bite your face off?!! Better to listen to your person on this one, B.

Patricia, sometimes it’s a challenge to have such a needy person, but I guess it’s my job to take care of her.

Kevin, I wish I’d see Ghost Dog. I haven’t seen him for a very long time. I guess he disappeared for good. My person thinks it might have been a wily coyote out there.

Don’t feel bad, Bongo. My person doesn’t even let me stalk the cat that lives in the bush between us and the neighbors. Something about not wanting me all scratched up. Seriously. These people.
Love,

Pierre, every time I try to chase a cat I come to the end of my leash and the cat gets away. At least Bubba, the neighbor cat from across the street doesn’t come in my yard anymore.

Your person is a human. And humans have reduced senses and an overcomplicated brain which makes them always timorous. Sighhhhhh. Perhaps you should go on walks with Toby.

Kolytyi, I do have more fun sometimes when I go with Toby. But he never wants to go very far.
