Snow Dust

31 Jan

Bongo heading to his favorite dusty spotI’ve been waiting for snow all winter.

We haven’t had any.

My friends in faraway places have more snow than they know what to do with.

Someone even tried to send me some.

But all I got was a soggy box.

I might have to bite the mailman who stole my snow.

So while I’m waiting impatiently for the snow I thought I’d do the next best thing.

I might not have all that white stuff to play in, but there’s sure a lot of red around here.

So I’m heading to my favorite dusty spot.

.

Bongo making dust fly

This spot has deep dust so when I get it kicking, it goes flying.

Bongo making a hole in the dust

And when it settles you won’t even see the hole.

***

Hey person, could we get it to rain dust instead of snow?

This is much better. My toes aren’t frozen?

Dust storms? We have dust storms here?

Where’s the weather report?

I’ve got to find out when the next one is.

O Bongo I would willingly give you all the snow in my garden…it is very thick snd it is very cold. Last night was -.19. My puppies like to play in the snow but I have to dry them when they come in as they have snow stuck to their fur.
I am sure that you would enjoy the snow but not the cold. I would rather play in your dust bowl it looks fun

Patrecia, I bet I’d get rich if I could invent snow that was fun to play in but wasn’t cold.

If you come across any snow, run and put it in the ice box

Lily, I would do that but I think it would be gone before I got it that far.

You have to dig deeper Bongo, maybe the snow is hiding 🙂 Happy kicking weekend 🙂

Little Binky, I’ll keep digging. That snow has got to be here somewhere.

Oh man Bongo! I am going to talk to our postmaster here about the stolen snow – maybe I should have told Diane to insure it… I’ve still got some to share so next time I’ll wrap the whole box in duct tape – that’ll show them…Lola

Thanks Lola. They’ll never get it out through all that duct tape. Could you use some of that duct tape with pretty designs? Maybe they have some with dogs on it.

It looks like a lot of fun to make that much dust Bongo! But I agree with you, I wish around here it would just rain!

Viciously Sweet, we actually got some rain today. Now I don’t have dust or snow.

Ooooohhhh! It looks fun Bongo! I’d love to join the dust playing! Hee hee hee….
I’m now wondering why you haven’t had snow this year…..Is it much warmer this year than last year?

Kevin, we’ve mostly had warm, sunny days all winter. I think we pushed all the cold to the eastern states. But it did rain today. First time in over a month.

Be careful kicking up the dirt, B. Or a B-A-T-H might be in your future….

Cupcake, I kind of like baths. Anything with water is fun to me. Guess I’ll go kick up some more dirt. Oh wait, it rained yesterday. I bet that dust is mud now.

Trust you to have red snow when the rest of us have white – BOL!

Dalton, I could send some over to you. If you sprinkle it on top of your white snow you could turn it red – or at least pink.

Marina, I’ve been trying to invent snow that’s fun to play in but isn’t cold. I guess maybe I did it.
