Under the Weather

01 Feb

Cloudy DayIt’s been raining out and my person says she’s under the weather so she won’t take me for a walk.

I don’t know what else she expects.

When it rains you’re always under the weather.

My person must have forgotten what it’s like.

We haven’t had any rain in over a month.

Do you think maybe if I took her flying up over the weather she’d take me for a walk?

.

Bongo in a Jet

It’s kind of hard to have adventures when you can’t leave the house.

Bongo taking a nap

Guess I’ll take a nap.

Sometimes they’re so bored its hard to watch but the professor has noticed that they’re quite resilient and don’t hold grudges. Loyal to the end….

Professor, I don’t hold grudges but if I miss a walk I bug my person to let me out in the yard every few minutes. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

I’m sorry bongo. You’ll have to have adventures in your dreams and tell us about them.

Well, sweet Bongo around here when one says they are under the weather it means they are not feeling well. If that is the case we sure hope your person is feeling all better very soon. We are sorry that you can’t go on any adventures right now, maybe real soon you can get back to it. Hugs and nose kisses

Thanks Chancy and Mumsy. My person just has a cold. I think if she went outside and got some good exercise she’d warm up.

If you fly over the weather, there’s nowhere to walk, B. Clouds are too soft. You’ll fall through, unless you have a parachute!

Cupcake, I guess I’ll just have to make my person go for an under the weather rain walk then. Wait! Parachute? Where can I get one of those?

Oh you look like one of the famous wing walkers! Keep that harness snug. (dreary cold moving in tomorrow here)

Karen, we must have sent our storm to you because ours has passed through and cleared up already. Guess I can stop my wing walking now.

Kevin, it would be super cool if you could hop on an airplane and fly over here.

Maybe after your nap you could make your person some chicken soup. Then I’ll bet she wants to snuggle right up with you.

Diane and Lola, I’ll make that chicken soup – but I might be tempted to eat it all before my person gets any.

Dalton, my person says thanks. As far as that adventure in my house – I’m waiting until she’s not looking.

Thanks Marina. My person says she’s hanging in there. She’s still getting more tired than usual – but at least she’s taking me for walks.

Maybe your person needs warm hugs from you and a few grogs [a mix of cognac – fresh lemon juice and honey heated up]. Works wonders before sleep and beats various ‘intruders’!

I’ll pass that on to my person. Do you think the hugs would work better if I jump on her too?
