Believe me, there has been some mischief around here.
And it wasn’t me.
It wasn’t even the cats.
It started with my person.
She pulled the sick thing – said she wasn’t up to taking me for a walk.
And I missed walks on two sunny, blue-sky days.
And then when she finally felt like she was up to taking me for a walk – it thundered.
And anybody who knows me knows that I don’t like thunder.
So here I am.
Three days of no walks.
What?
The thunder’s stopped?
We’re going for a walk?
.
Bye guys. I’m outta here!
Okay, I’m back.
That was a short walk.
And I think my person just wanted to take pictures of the sunset.
She says she was doing it so I wouldn’t notice the other cloud.
What other cloud?
What? Wait!
That’s no cloud.
That’s a thunderstorm!
I’m outta here!

Is this thunderstorm pulling some mischief or what?!!! Can’t a doggy go out for a walk without it showing up?!!! We have to make a union, Bongo, the Union of Thunder Fighters! Maybe then it will think twice!
Bongo, please give my congratulations to your person for such great captures! 🙂

Marina, my person says thanks. And that’s a great idea to for the Union of Thunder Fighters. That thunder wouldn’t stand a chance against us.

Bongo, those thunderstorms are creeping in over here. Molly wants to bark them outta here to somewhere else? Maybe CA would like some rain? Blow that direction, storms!

Karen, CA can always use some rain and they hardly ever get thunder. I think it’s about time they got some.

Aw, Bongo, I hope your person is feeling better. I am sure she felt really guilty not being able to walk you, without thunder! 🙂

Sci Fi, I don’t know what to think of my person lately. Between being sick, and an owie on her foot, and that busy thing, and the thunder I have’t gotten many walks lately.

You gotta give some slack to your person, Bongo. There are dogs that never get to go for a walk let alone on nifty trails.

August 27, 2014 at 9:43 pm
Patricia, I’m spoiled. I need my walks on my trails every day.

Aww, Bongo! Soon you will get a nice, long walk in nice weather, I’m sure! 🙂 Riley doesn’t mind thunder, but as soon as he feels raindrops on his face…ZOOM! He’s back in the house 🙂

Riley, I’ll take the rain if you’ll stand guard over the thunder. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Marty, my person says thanks. But I had to get her to hurry and put her camera away before that thunder caught up with us.

Oh my Doodle – was it a thunderstorm? Hope you made it back before it started. Sending good thoughts that your human gets better and you’re back on your walks!

Thanks Goldendoodles. That was definitely a thunderstorm, but at least it didn’t come over to my house. My walks are still hit and miss but thanks for your good thoughts. And thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Cathy, Isis & Phoebe, missing a walk is a horrible thing. And it’s been hit and miss now for a couple weeks. I’ve got to do something about this. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Your person is very tricky. She should know you’re a meteorology expert. She cannot fool you with her so-called “clouds” anymore.

Cupcake, I don’t even need to see those clouds. I can tell by the feel of the air. No one can trick me.

I’m glad to read that at least you had a walk even though it was short…. you must feel very frustrated because those nasty thunder has been hanging around quite long time….quite often…

Kevin, this time of year is horrible around here. At least this year hasn’t been quite as bad as last year. Last year we had thunderstorms almost every day.
