Some of my friends have been getting worried about me so I had to get after my person.
I told her I wouldn’t take her on any more walks if she didn’t help me write a blog post.
It’s not nice to keep my friends in suspense.
And it’s all my person’s fault.
First she was sick, and then something bit her foot and it swelled up so much that she wouldn’t go on walks with me.
She’s all better from that stuff, but lately she’s been pulling this “busy” thing.
I don’t get it.
What’s more important than spending time with me?
And I did have to miss a few walks because of that nasty thunder.
Speaking of that – they had plenty of that in another part of my state.
I’m glad I missed it but I’m really disappointed about the other stuff.
They had so much rain in the Phoenix area that people were swimming in the streets.
.
And all I have is my puddle.
Hardly big enough to swim in.
So I might have to get my person to take me to Phoenix.
Even the cars got to go swimming on the interstate. http://www.fox10phoenix.com/story/26472708/2014/09/08/major-monsoon-creates-flooding-on-valley-freeways
Now that I finally got my person to help me with another post I’ve got to work on getting her to take me somewhere where I can go swimming in the streets.

GAH! Do not go swimming in the streets, B. We saw a girl on the news kayaking past the rim of a basketball net! Yikes! Too deep!
Love and licks,

if this keeps up you will no longer be living in the desert region. Is that your thundershirt I see on you or a rain coat for just in case?

September 9, 2014 at 12:10 pm
Fredrieka, it’s my thundershirt. If it was really thundering I wouldn’t have gone out on my trails, but my person says thunder is predicted over the next couple days so she’s making me wear it.

Thanks Mary and Fan. My person says we’re lucky that all I have is my puddle, but I still want to go swimming.

Welcome back, Bongo!!!! I’m so glad you convinced your person to help you. We have missed you, especially Loretta who’s been having a bit of a rough time with mr. Thunder – he’s been very busy everywhere, hasn’t he?!!! I’m so glad your person is better from that ordeal!
Don’t forget to look up in the sky, full moon today! 🙂

Thanks Marina. Loretta and I are going to have to work together and go after that Mr. Thunder. He shouldn’t be allowed to exist. I noticed it was really bright last night because of the moon, but it kept hiding behind the clouds and only sneaking out for a peak every once in awhile. Maybe the clouds will go away tonight so the moon can’t hide.

Did the clouds go away?

Marina, the clouds didn’t go away last night, but most of them were gone today. Woo woo! No thunder. Tell Loretta thanks for her help.

Oh its great to see you back again Bongo. I am so sorry that you were unable to go walkies for so long but then your person did haveb a bad foot. I have a bad head..my mind went all fuzzy and I fainted in my kitchen and I fell over and banged my head on the stone floor. That was two days ago and I still hurt, so I went to doctor.
I am happy that you have a puddle still, those poor people in Pheonix, I feel sorry for them and how frightened they must have been
lots of love xxxx

Patrecia, bad heads are not good. My person and I are praying for you. I hope it’s better soon. I have been getting some walks the last few days, but my person still had that “busy” thing going on. And then there’s been the thunder. I won’t go for walks in thunder.

Oh, my sweet Bongo! If the cars are swimming in the street we think that is way too much water and rain. We are glad you still have your puddle that is better than a flood. We were sure sorry to hear about your person being sick and getting that nasty bite. Sure happy to hear she is all better now and you were able to talk her in to typing a post for you. Hugs and nose kisses for you both from Chancy and me!

Thanks Chancy and Mumsy. My person and I saw some videos where people were swimming in parks that normally don’t have any water in them. I sure wish I had a park like that – but my person says I’d probably only like it for a little while and then I’d get tired of all that water everywhere.

You did it, Bongo…YES! So glad you’re back 🙂 The weather is terrible, also here in the Netherlands. We have parts that you can swim too in the houses. Poor people who have to deal with it. Well, I brought my boat, so we can sail… in your puddle, Pawkisses 🙂

Little Binky, I’m ready. Sailing in my puddle sounds like fun. Swimming in houses doesn’t. Some of the people in the Phoenix area got water in their houses too, but maybe not enough to swim in.

So you felt the vibe from all of us worrying about you Bongo? Mom was just talking to Gram at dinner about how she missed you and hoped all was OK. Glad to see you are doing well. Hope your Mom’s foot is doing better!

Thanks Marty. You and all my blogging friends helped. My person’s foot is much better. She says there’s still a little lump right where the bite was and it sometimes itches a bit – but even that is getting smaller.

Even though I haven’t been able to answer as much I was really worried about how you were. I always hear about the weather out by you and I didn’t know if you were in any of the really bad rains or Dust storms. I’m sorry your Mom was sick and am glad she is doing better, but I’m really happy your back:-)

Thanks Mica. I’m happy my person is better and I’m back on my blog and having adventures too. The bad rains happened in the Phoenix area and that’s where the bad dust storms are too. We’re a little over 100 miles north of there, and usually pretty safe from that kind of stuff. My younger person had just moved out of his apartment in Chandler (southeast of Phoenix) a week before the bad rains and flooding and Chandler got the most rain of all.
