Okay, I’ve got to tell you what’s been going on at my house while I’ve been absent from my blog.
There seems to be a great jealousy of my dog jail kennel from the cats.
I guess they wish they had one as nice as mine.
But I’m guarding it and I might need to put a sign up that says “No Cats Allowed!”
So the cats have had to settle for second best.

Scratchy had to go to the vet the other day so his cat jail was sitting out.
And he’s claiming it – or guarding it – or something.
Who would want your silly old cat cage anyway Scratchy?
It’s too little to be any good.

Now Gizmo, not to be left out, had to get creative.
He made his own little cubby.
Not as good as mine…
But I have to admit that Gizmo is innovative.
Or is that in na box?

Snorticles too funny my friend! Houdini’s jail is small. I couldn’t even get my hoof in there – snorts. It’s like the four bears in this house. My jail is big; Mouse Girls is slightly smaller; Hemi slightly smaller and Houdini minuscule. XOXO – Bacon

Kevin, Scratchy is okay – at least for an old cat. He turned 16 this summer. He has a few issues but he’s still hanging in there. That Gizmo though – he’s a character. I’ve got to figure out how to get him back though. Sometimes when I come in from the yard he sits on the arm of the futon next to the door and bats at me.

Oh that Scratchy is one to be feared for sure! He doesn’t even run and hide when the cat box comes out. Military operations are put into place when George and Fergus have to go in their cat carriers… all exits must be sealed and doors to rooms which have furniture that can be used as a hideout are also closed. Wow. We’re impressed by Scratchy!

Flo, I think Scratchy likes to go to the vet so he can be mean to them. They have even marked his chart so they know to watch out for his bites.
