Sunset Surprise

16 Sep

Sunset in SedonaThe other day I finally figured out how to photobomb my person’s flower pictures.

But now I’ve got a new challenge.

I’ve been taking my person on some walks kind of late in the day.

It’s too dark for flower pictures, so I don’t even have to worry about photobombing them.

But now my person found something else to take pictures of.

Something you can only see this time of day.

Sunset in Sedona

Flowers are easy to photobomb.

I’m bigger than the flowers.

But what do I do about the sky?

Sunset in Sedona

The sky is bigger than me – and it’s higher than me.

What am I going to do?

There’s got to be a way.

And I’m going to find it.

Sunset in Sedona

Person, when I figure this out you’re going to be in trouble.

And so is your camera.

This is such a challenge.

What can I do about this?

Wait a minute.

I’m closer to my person’s camera than the sky is.

That’s got to count for something.

Bongo and the sunset

Take that you sunset!

Everybody’s looking at me now.

Thanks Lily & Edward. I’ve got to keep an eye on my person’s camera so I can always get in the picture.

Jealousy will get you nowhere Bongo my love. The skies at night or in the morning are very beautiful and created by God. But having said that so were you also you must be as beautiful as the glorious sky…lots of love and wet kisses

Thanks Little Binky. I’ve got to convince my person that she only needs to take pictures of me.

Of course you are a genius dog, Bongo! I knew you’d figure it out! Must admit though that the skies looked beautiful – well done Bongo’s person! [not as beautiful as you of course!] 😉

Marina, my person says thanks. But I still think she should put me in every picture.

Yes she should put you in every picture. Try jumping up and down in front of that ccamara just as she is about to ‘click’

Mary, I’ll have to do that. Jumping is one of my favorite things to do anyway.

Those sunset pictures are pretty nice, B. It’s hard to compete with beauty like that! But if anybody can take on a sunset and come out ahead – it’s you! You’re gorgeous!

    Love and licks,

Cupcake, you’re so awesome. You ought to come over here and help me photobomb a few sunsets.

We were going to suggest you cover the camera lens with your paw sweet Bongo but we see you got it all figured out where you are up front in the picture. Those are all gorgeous pictures of the sky especially the one with you in it. Hugs and nose kisses

Thanks Chancy and Mumsy. I like your covering the lens with my paw idea. I might have to try that next time. Hugs and nose kisses back to you.

Ginger, if I time my jump just right I bet I could completely cover up that sunset. Maybe I should get my person to take more pictures so I can practice.

Dalton, jumping’s one of my favorite things to do. Great idea. I’ll have to keep jumping in front of that sunset.

I think your person would have a uniquely fantastic perspective for photographing the sky if she sat on the ground, wouldn’t she? And then, a silhouette of a dog could appear on her pics, as a really special addition.

    • Bongo

      September 17, 2014 at 10:45 am

Great idea Kolytyi. Now I’ve just got to convince my person. She says she won’t sit on the ground for pictures when I’m with her because I tend to crawl on top of her. I don’t know what she sees so wrong with that.

Kevin, I totally agree with you. I’ve got to figure out how to go flying into the clouds.
