This Way to Adventure

17 Sep

Globe mallowMy person is not always the most adventuresome person in the world.

I mean, look what she does when I take her on my trails.

She hangs around in one spot and takes pictures of flowers.

How adventuresome is that?

And when I want to go off trail looking for adventure – you know there’s lots of adventures hiding in the bushes – my person holds my leash tight and won’t let me go very far.

I haven’t been able to get through to her.

She’d have way more fun on our walks if she’d only follow me into adventure.

But I think she’s untrainable.

So since I’m missing out on so many adventures when I’m with my person I decided to try a new tactic.

***

I took my younger person and his friend on a walk with me.

Bongo on the trail with two guys

Hey guys come on.

It’s this way to adventure!

Patrecia, my younger person and his friend weren’t any more adventurous than my person is. Guess I’m going to have to find a Plan C.

Hmmm, they don’t look that convinced, Bongo. Maybe you should turn around and do that look to them – maybe then it would work!!!! 🙂

Marina, I’m going to have to give them a really super duper special look. They aren’t very adventurous either.

Fredrieka, my person came along too – with her camera. Maybe that’s why those guys weren’t very adventurous. I bet I’d get in lots better adventures if I went hiking with you.

And Rumpy you just look so happy about your new hiking companions! (Your Person may be more adventurous that you think if Stinging flying thingies visit those flowers, too…a recent event here. Take care)
