I was walking along my trails minding my own business when I looked up.
And in a tree were two birds.
.
.
.
.
.
I wonder what would happen if one of them decided to pull mischief on the other.
Which one would win?
Would it be the hawk?
Definitely the largest and most powerful of the two.
A tried and true hunter.
Would the hawk win?
Or would it be…
…the hummingbird?
I’m going for the hummingbird.
That hummingbird already has it’s pointy beak aimed directly at the hawk.
One perfectly aimed dive bomb and that hawk will never know what hit him.
I’m voting for the little guy.

Unless the little guy turns out to be…
…a cat.

Fredrieka, as a matter of fact that hummingbird might even beat the cat. A little divebomb with that beak could do wonders.

Patrecia, Gizmo batted at me again when I was coming in from the yard. He’s always doing stuff like that.

MOL… I have to admit, I vote for a cat too, Bongo 😀 Good Gizmo is not outside. Pawkiss 🙂

Little Binky, Gizmo is never allowed outside and he seems content with that. As long as my people give him lots of pets. I think all the pets should go to me.

Marina, that’s why Gizmo has to stay in the house.

I’m going with the little guy, too. He’s up higher, so if he dropped a bird poop, he wouldn’t heve have to fly to win.
Love and licks,

Cupcake, that’s a weapon I hadn’t thought of. My person has seen people get attacked by seagull poop, but I’ve never heard of that happening with a hummingbird. Maybe it’s so little that it’s a secret weapon because nobody is sure what hit them.

Well, we like the underdog, but an undercat works too at the zoo

Dogdaz, I’ve just got to make sure he remains an undercat. He keeps trying to get the best of me.

I am voting for the hummingbird because he is so tiny the hawk would have a hard time catching him 🙂

Marty, you could be right. Those hummingbirds fly fast.

Thanks SK. That hawk was ignoring the hummingbird so it must have been looking for something bigger. And thanks for stopping by and commenting.

BOL! Gizumo…..!!!!! Are there more hawks on your trails? Aren’t they dangerous that attack humans? I hope that cute hummingbird would win!

Kevin, hawks only show up on my trails every once in awhile, but my person says she sees them flying around a lot when she drives between our town and the next town over. I’ve never heard of any hawks around here attacking people – or dogs. They usually go for smaller things like mousies.
