A New Garden

23 Sep

Sunflowers amid a collection of rocksAs I walked along on my trails minding my own business I noticed something new.

It was in a little area where people sometimes hang out.

The place where people stack rocks up into high piles.

Only I guess they got tired of stacking rocks.

Now they’ve decided to plant a garden.

.

.

.

.

I decided to check it out.

Bongo behind the sunflowers

Those sunflowers are tall and easy to see.

But maybe there’s more garden around here.

Maybe someone planted some vegetables.

Some really tasty vegetables.

I like vegetables.

I’m drooling just thinking about it.

***

Wait. This isn’t fair.

It’s torture to start drooling and find nothing tasty to satisfy that drool.

Bongo walking away from the flowers

There’s nothing here person.

Let’s go home.

I know you’ve got vegetables treats for me there.

Very clever… but they don’t look very tasty, Bongo. Surely your person’s vegetable treats must be yummier!

Marina, I was hoping for some tastier treats in that garden, but I guess I’ll have to beg some from my person.

Lily & Edward, I sure didn’t find anything tasty in the garden. I might have to start my own. Let’s see, what could I plant? Can you grow fish in a garden?

My goodness! Sweet Bongo someone is doing lots of things on your trails lately. You might have to put on your investigating cap and see if you can find out who they are. Those flowers are pretty though and add color to your trail. Hugs and nose kisses

Chancy and Mumsy, I think I might run home and get my Detective Dog hat right now. Hugs and nose kisses back to you.

Cupcake, I’ve never tasted a sunflower either. Some things just don’t smell edible.

Is that sunflower a true one? or is it CG? If it’s a real one, you need to have a detective hat, Bongo. 🙂

Kevin, it’s real. I think they’re seeded along the highways because lots of them show up along the roads this time of year. And a few of them pop up somewhere else. We have a couple in my backyard. My person lets them grow because they’re pretty. But I’d better get my detective hat so I can figure out how one ended up way out on my trails.

So people just build stuff where ever they feel like on your trails Bongo?

Marty, people are always stacking up rocks and things on my trails. On the trails where a lot of people go they usually get knocked down within a day or two. But hardly anybody goes on this trail so stuff stays longer. I actually found a room with short walls on a part of my trails that’s not really a trail.
