Scratchy, what are you doing in there? Did you get to go to the vet today?
Did you have a good time?
You didn’t like it? Why not? Didn’t they give you treats?
No treats!? I got lots of treats at the vet. How come you didn’t get any treats?
Well, did they give you loves?
No loves either? I don’t get it. When I went to the vet I got lots of treats and loves.
You did what!!!? You attacked my our person?
They wrapped you in a towel and poked things into you?
Scratchy, they poked some things in me too, but the treats and loves made up for it.
Then they what? They picked you up with leather gloves and held you down?
You kicked and hissed and scratched and tried to give them what for?
Scratchy, I thought I was pretty tough – but I guess you’re the toughest.
I think I’m going to let you keep being the toughest – because, you know why. When you chase all those people away with your claws and your teeth and your toughness, they’re going to come to me with all the loves.
Just keep on being tough, Scratchy.

A very aptly named puss! Scratchy…he obviously did not enjoy his visit to the vets…my Stumpy, who is called that because of his stump tail…he really enjoys going to see his vet people even though they did cut one of his legs off…

Patreciau, Scratchy calmed down after he got back home. Mostly we put up with each other, although he has scratched my nose a few times.

Dogdaz, at least Scratchy calmed down when he got home. I’ve been trying to be nice to him and give him some loves but for some reason he just doesn’t want any.

Scratchy is one tough kitty! Sounds like he did not have any fun at all but I don’t blame him. Our Roory is the sweetest cat ever…until it comes to the vet. She usually has to be sedated for them to examine her! I guess cats reaaalllly don’t like the vet!

Tim, Scratchy was just fine after he got away from the vet. He was only in for booster shots and a check up.

Kevin, Scratchy was trying to get back in his cage and they closed the opening on him. I told him you tapped his shoulder and he said he hopes your taps are gentler than mine. I don’t get it.

LOL…. One on our cats Bongo was put into a bag at the vets that allowed only her head to show for she was so tough and naughty! We think you are right Bongo, you can gain a lot of love during this time. 🙂

Oh Scratchy!! When our cat goes to the vet she gets lots of pets and loves. She is so sweet to the vet and they really enjoy seeing her. They give her pokes but she doesn’t act like she cares, she just waits and gets more loves for being so good. I think they would be nicer if you weren’t trying to scratch them 😦
