Who’s on My Trails?

13 Apr

Bongo sniffing clothes on the trailHey person, there’s stuff on this trail marker. It smells interesting. What is it?

It has people smell on it, but not somebody I know. What is this stuff?

It is? It’s somebody’s pants and shirt?

Oh, no. You know what that means? That means there’s somebody naked on my trails. Why would somebody want to be naked on my trails?

Watch out person. The naked person might be hiding in the bushes nearby. You’d better close your eyes. These bushes aren’t very thick. That person might be embarrassed to be seen.

Why would that person want to be naked anyway? I know it’s a nice, warm day. People don’t need clothes today to stay warm. Those clothes look pretty warm. Maybe that person got too warm and decided to go naked.

Or maybe a vicious dog was on that person’s track and that person had to distract the dog.

Yikes! That means there might be a naked person and a vicious dog on my trails. One of them could jump out at us at any time.

This is not good. I’ve got to protect you, person. Come on, I’m taking you home.

Good for you Bongo…Protecting your person is the right thing to do…:-)
You never know what kind of strange people you might meet.

Alexander, it’s my job to keep my person safe. Mostly I keep dogs away from her that I don’t know. You never know – they may give her slobbery kisses. Only I am supposed to do that.

I am so glad you protected your person. I think people are awful when they leave their stuff about in the world… causing all sorts of litter and badness! Be safe on your trails Bongo and Person 🙂

Viciously Sweet, those clothes weren’t there after awhile. I guess that person got tired of being naked.

Thank goodness! They probably got a sunburn!

Viciously Sweet, that would be a very painful sunburn. I’m sure glad I don’t have to worry about things like sunburns.

Yikes Bongo – you might not have been embarrassed, but I think your person would have to find a naked person hiking around. And you know what I just realized? I went back in the closet to put on some sneakers I knew were back there & you’ll never guess what the name of those sneakers is… yes, Bongo – says right on the flaps. I didn’t know you were into shoe manufacturing.

Diane, I really must be famous. Now they’re naming shoes after me. Awesome!

Bongo yet another person who is not properly trained. What are we going to do with these people?

Bella and DiDi, I have that person’s scent now. I might have to give that person what for. I bet the clothes wouldn’t be around for long after that.

        April 13, 2012 at 1:11 pm

Yeah they’ll probably sneak back before sunset and take their clothes therefore ruining your evidence. *Sigh*

        April 13, 2012 at 1:22 pm

Bella and DiDi, maybe I should put Detective Dog tape around the evidence so no one can touch it.

Maybe that person lost its clothes?

    • Bongo

      April 13, 2012 at 1:20 pm

Dianda, I hadn’t thought of that. That would be embarrassing to lose your clothes.

        April 14, 2012 at 5:56 am

I wonder how someone can lose his clothes.

      • Bongo

        April 14, 2012 at 12:20 pm

Dianda, the way those clothes were laying it looked like that person left them there on purpose. Not sure why anyone would want to go naked on my trails. There’s so many dogs that one of them is bound to sniff them out.

Bassetmomma, it does keep my trails interesting – but I’ve got to make sure my person stays safe. After all, she does give me treats.

Collies and Chuck, if I couldn’t get my person to safety on time I would have had to take Ginger’s advice.

Bongo, your trails are anything but lonesome! Good thing your person has you along to make sure the fellow trail-walkers know to behave–dressed or not.

Patricia, there always seems to be something happening on my trails. It makes it a fun place to walk.

Thanks Twoblackdoggies. My trails are usually pretty safe, but you never know what you’re gonna find.

Unless there’s a beach, lake or river near by …this is very weird Bongo. Get your Super Dog mantle out!

      April 14, 2012 at 12:12 pm

Marina, not even my puddle is around right now. I guess I’d better play Super Dog and straighten that naked person and that vicious dog out.

OMD! Naked person is missing on your trails??? How dangerous it is! Well done, Bongo! You always protect your person from dangers!!! Was it a man or woman, the naked person? *curious face* Woof?

    • Bongo

      April 14, 2012 at 12:15 pm

Kevin, I don’t know if the naked person was a man or a woman. The clothes were like sweats that either could have worn. The clothes are gone now though, so I’m thinking there’s no longer a naked person around. Unless someone else took the clothes. That could be really bad.

Thanks Jet. So far I haven’t come to the bottom of this one. I haven’t found a naked person or a vicious dog. I’m just hoping they’ve both left my trails for good.

Just hopped over to catch up with your happenings and say hello! Have fun this weekend!

Hawk, I never did find the naked person, but the clothes aren’t there anymore so I guess there’s no naked person either. I hope you have a great weekend too.

I though maybe they were dressed too warmly and took of the heavy clothes leaving shorts and Tshirt. Then maybe they walked a long way and forgot where they left them or how to get back to them. But its good you are with Mom we never know when someone is dangerous!?

Lexie and Mica, it was a warm day. And those clothes disappeared later, so I hope that person is dressed now.

Bongo, do you ever find any shoes? I always see some randomly dispersed on the highway, and wonder why someone would suddenly decided to throw one shoe out of a moving car. I am thinking they are trying to join the socks that are always missing from my dryer.

Wonderbutt’s person, I’ll keep an eye out for your missing socks. No shoes though. My person says no one wants to lose those on my trails. I’m not sure why. I don’t wear any and I do fine.

    Hey Bongo,

You’re such a good protector Dog – I’d like to be one too, but if I’m scared I hide behind Mum’s leg! 🙂

I hope the person found their clothes again 🙂

    Have fun,

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂

Snoopy, you’ll have to go out on my trails with me. I’ll give you some brave lessons. The clothes aren’t there any more, so I hope the right person got them back.
