I don’t believe it. My person left me yesterday and she didn’t come home. I waited and waited for her, but she was nowhere to be found. My younger person stayed home with me, but where did my person go?
Bedtime came and my person was still not here. It was pretty lonely sleeping on my bed without my person sleeping on the bed next to me.
The next day my younger person fed me breakfast. I had to wait though. He doesn’t get up very early and I had to remind him that I was hungry. He only feeds me breakfast when my person is gone.
Where, oh where has my person gone?
My younger person left and I found myself alone with Scratchy – and it was getting close to dinner time.
Scratchy won’t feed me dinner. What am I to do? I’m getting hungry.
Finally, my person drove up. Just in time. I don’t think I could have gone without food much longer.
And guess what! She brought me a friend. I’ve never met this friend before but we talk on my blog sometimes.
And my friend likes to play catch. Woo woo!

A truly scary situation Bongo! It’s been so hot here I haven’t been able to go on any car rides. Don’t know why I can’t just sit with the car running & the A/C on – who would steal my car with me in it? Lola (I’d come stay with you if I could)

Lola, it would be so much fun if you could stay with me. And I know no one would steal a car with either of us in it. I don’t know why our people won’t take us along with them. That way they’d never get lonely for us.

Bassa, it’s always really good to see my person again when she’s been gone and then comes back home.

That’s the great mysteries of Persons: they leave and come back. Don’t Persons know dog worry? Whew. Lucky younger person was there…even if you do have to do sad doggie reminder faces. Glad it’s tail wagging time again!

Karen, I’ve never been able to figure out people. I think they should just take me everywhere with them. I’d be good. Really.

Susan, my person puts me through all kinds of torture sometimes – but at least she finally comes back, and even brought me a friend.

Maybe you should ask your person to tell you where she’ll be going next time she leaves!
Bongo
July 18, 2012 at 9:30 pm
Dianda, she should not only tell me where she’s going, but when she’ll come back. And then she has to stick to her schedule.

Your person should leave her cell phone number with you so you can call to check on her.

Patricia, one of my friend dogs can text now. I think my person should teach me how to text.

Marina, that was nice of my person to bring me a friend, but she could have taken me with her when she went. Next time I’m jumping in the car.

I guess your person wanted to surprise you, Bongo, otherwise she would have said that she was leaving, right?

Angels Whisper, I didn’t think of that. Having my friend come here was a real surprise.

Hey Bongo, Jet here.
You had overnight pals? Wowee, wow, wow! I know you missed your person, however, you had lots of special company, right? Mom’s about to K9 sit for Austin, her employer’s golden, in a week. In fact, she’s going over there soon for instructions!!!

Hey Jet, is your mom going to Austin’s house or is Austin coming to your house? I sure hope she isn’t leaving you for another dog. It’s been fun having an overnight friend at my house. Even if I wear her out too much to give me loves sometimes.

Collies, new friends are always fun to have around. Unfortunately my person and my new friend left the house yesterday and when my person came back she didn’t have my new friend with her. I wonder if my person was jealous because I was giving my new friend attention.
