Supervision Needed

04 Sep

Bongo watching with two vehicles backed up to each otherMy younger person came home to see me this weekend because Monday was a holiday so he had extra time. Well, he says he didn’t just come to see me – he had to get something that was still in the broken down vehicle that got towed back here.

When I went out for my walk my younger person was doing something that looked strange. He had his little car and his big car backed up to each other. I wanted to stay because I was sure he needed someone to supervise. I wasn’t sure he knew what he was doing – you can’t drive cars when they’re like that.

But my person tugged on my leash and made me go for a walk. I tried to convince her I needed to stay, but she wouldn’t listen.

Well, she listened to the next thing. A big, loud clap of thunder coming from the direction we were headed. Sorry person, we can’t go any further that way. Got to go back and supervise.

Bongo supervising the job

I made it back just in time to make sure my younger person didn’t get lost in the space warp he had created.

Somehow he managed to put a great big tool box into a tiny little Honda.

Moving a toolbox from one vehicle to another

Younger person, don’t fall innnnnn!

Tool box? That could be a coffin prop for Halloween!

Rumpy, I’ll have to mention that to my younger person. He could dress as a mummy for Halloween. My person says he got a great big tool box because it was on sale and cheaper than the smaller ones.

Sweet Kitten, I don’t think my people would ever get anything done right without me.

Patreciau, I’ve got to keep my younger person in line and make sure he does everything right. He doesn’t seem to like my supervision but that just shows that he needs it all the more.

Patreciau, the Hot Potato award has no requirements except to pass it on to other bloggers that are incredible and worthwhile – so now, it’s yours.

Space warp in a car? 😮

Dianda, it’s a little tiny car and a great big toolbox – so my younger person must have created some kind of space warp to get the toolbox to fit.

What could he possibly need in that giant toolbox…at college? The collies are very curious about this, as our teenager just started college and said its all about books and studying. (we tried to convince her to let us come along, but she said collies aren’t allowed!)

Collies, I got told I’m not allowed at college either. What I want to know is what kind of thing is this college that doesn’t allow dogs? My younger person is studying to be an airplane mechanic and he has to have all his own tools to work on airplanes.

I’m so glad you got everything squared away Bongo & you look like you have the situation totally under control. This thunder seems to be following you a lot lately.

Diane and Lola, my person says this is the worst thunder season she remembers. I think it’s picking on me. We had another big storm this afternoon. I think thunder season is supposed to be almost over. I just hope it pays attention to the calendar and leaves when it’s supposed to.

Bongo, the color of the box matches with the car, but the spatial awareness is hard to find 😀
I have nominated you for The Addictive Blog Award and if you like it you can pick it up on my blog:

Alfie, I’ve got to make sure my younger person doesn’t get into mischief and forget what he’s doing.

The pictures that you are supervising your younger person are so cute! You’re doing great job, Bongo! Did your younger person fix his car on his own? Woof?

Kevin, my people have lots of Japanese cars – two Hondas and a Toyota 4Runner. The Toyota belongs to both my people really but my person got it when my younger person needed a winter driving vehicle. Now he changed where he’s going to school to a place where they don’t have winter. My younger person is planning to fix the 4Runner when he has a school vacation. The break down was probably caused by bad maintenance by someone who had it before my people got it.

Hmmm, maybe you could hide in that tool box and travel with him… or then maybe not. Your person would be able to cope without you!!! You are right though, they do need your supervision!

Marina, it would be fun to go with my younger person but I can’t take my trails with me.

Ginger says great job supervising! What would humans do without us dogs to guide them in their tasks? hehehehe

Thanks Ginger. I’m sure my younger person wouldn’t have managed to get that big toolbox into that little car without me watching him.
