She’s Home!

22 Sep

Bongo Eating WeedsBoy was my person gone a long time today, so when she finally got home I was really excited to see her. I was excited because I would finally get my dinner.

She must have realized she’d forgotten to leave my bag of food out for me because the first thing she did was fill my dish. Oh, and Scratchy’s too. I’m not sure why he needed to be fed. He never even eats everything my person gives him and I have to finish it off for him.

I didn’t bother to tell my person that a friend had stopped by and let me out awhile ago. I let her think that I seriously needed to go out. She thinks I was overly excited when she said the word “outside” and I ran into a table. I did that on purpose. I just wanted her to think it was an accident.

After I came back in I needed to go out again. But I got distracted eating all the weeds – I mean, I was doing my person a favor by helping her get rid of the weeds in the yard – and my person made me go back in the house. Which meant I needed to go out again – to take care of business. And get rid of more weeds. I had to keep on my person before I could convince her that I really did need to go out.

I think I’d better stop helping my person with the yard work though. She might think I like yard work better than taking her on walks. And the weeds on my trails taste better.

Weeds are not a dog diet..you will end up with tummy ache! You just see if I’m not right!
That is so nice of you to help Scratchy eat all of his food..he must really love you…ummmmm!

Patreciau, my person keeps telling me not to eat weeds too, but we have such green, juicy ones this year. As for Scratchy, he always tells on me when I eat his food. I don’t know why he has to do that. He always gets more.

You are very tricky, B. – running into the table to pretend you’re anxious to go out is brilliant!

    Love and licks,

Cupcake, I always have to invent new ways to convince my person of things. I’m glad you liked my idea.

Shame Bongo, you ran straight into the table! Hope your head is feeling alright? Good job on the weeding but I agree – don’t let your human think you prefer it to walks 🙂

Susan, I didn’t run too hard into that table. Just enough to convince my person I really did it.

    Hi Y’all!

Sigh. I prefer young grass to weeds.

Just wanted to hop on by and see how y’all are doin’. Hope y’all have a wonderful weekend!

    Y’all come by now,

Hawk, thanks for hopping by. Nice, green, juicy grass is the best kind.

Woo wooo!!! They’re weeds pictures Bongo! Thanks so much! 🙂
I love to eat that types of weeds, too! Of course only green ones though…to be honest…I don’t know why but whenever I had these weeds, I almost throw them up! By the way, are you okay after running into the table? *worried face*

Kevin, I was thinking especially of you when I posted those weeds pictures. There’s one kind of weed that I eat that makes me throw up right away, but I don’t think it’s growing right now because all the weeds I’ve eaten lately stay down. I didn’t get hurt by that table. I just kind of side swiped it.

Marina, my person has been so busy she’s only had time to pull the weeds in the front yard – so I figured she must need my help in the back yard.

Bongo – sometimes people put furniture in the worst places. I like to rearrange it more to my liking…Lola

Lola, I’m not even sure why people have things like tables. They could just use the floor like we do.

You’re right Misty Shores. If it wasn’t for me Scratchy would be eating old yucky leftover food all the time.

Collies, lately I’ve been watering the plants my person is about to take pictures of. It makes her think twice about getting out that camera.

I think I would save the weed eating for the trail. Lexie and Mica find the best untouched by sprays in the woods. BTW still waiting to see your next swim walk. Is the weather good for one of those. Not rescue like me, just swim 😉

Lexie and Mica, it’s starting to cool down enough that we could go on another swim walk but the roads to the trail we’ve been on are really rough and our 4-wheel drive vehicle isn’t running right now. I’m going to have to get my people to find a place with better roads that we can go to. I love swimming.
