Fuzzballs

16 Nov

Field of FuzzballsI don’t know what my person is doing now. We’ve run out of flowers for her to take pictures of, so here she is taking pictures of a field of fuzzballs.

What good are these things? They aren’t a pretty color, they aren’t good for sniffing, and they’re no good to eat. I think my person needs to put her camera away.

I’ve got to get on to some good smells. I’ve got to find out what all my friends are up to, and I’m not getting anywhere here.

Fuzzballs close up

Okay, that’s enough. How can I convince my person that she’s taken enough pictures?

Oh look. A distraction.

Hey person, over here. This bush still has some yellow on it. Maybe you should take some pictures over here.

Bongo by a bush of yellow

It worked! She’s over looking at those yellow things – and by the time she realizes that they’ve turned more brown than yellow…

I will have taken care of her picture taking for the day.

Come on, person. Time to go.

Marina, those fuzzy things will be fine. My person says thanks for thinking of her. She says her ankle is just about better.

Susan, my person says thanks. I’m still trying to figure out what they’re for.

Angels Whisper, that’s the idea. Then my person won’t have any reason to take pictures of them.

That Fuzzballs are flower of the plant? They look like dandelion but not sure what they are….If you touch the fluffy part, do they flutter about in the air?

Kevin, those fuzzballs are kind of like dandelions when they go to seed and get fluffy – except there are whole bushes of flowers rather than individual flowers like dandelions.

Dianda, maybe I should bring some of those home for Scratchy. I bet he’d like them too.

Fuzzballs, those look really unusual to me wonder what plant they come from? You have really showed us some unusual plants this year. Do fuzzballs make you sneeze??

Lexie and Mica, those fuzzballs are on bushes that have little yellow flowers when they bloom, but I don’t know what they’re called. They don’t make me sneeze, but then not much does.

Great job in helping with the pictures Bongo! 🙂 Ginger says she can send some pictures of Tigger’s hairballs to help…..

Ginger, just make sure Tigger’s hairballs don’t end up on my blog. What a disaster that would be!
