Travelling Trails Sign

14 Dec

Bongo by a license plate that says TRA1LSI was heading out to my trails minding my own business, when all of a sudden I stopped in my tracks. Something new had appeared. A travelling sign pointing people to my trails.

This is good. This will make it easier for people to find my trails. And that means more people on my trails to give me loves.

But, wait a minute! There’s something wrong with this picture. This is a travelling Trails sign. Won’t that confuse people?

People will see the sign that points to my trails, but  when they come back again the sign might be gone, and the people will think my trails have disappeared.

How terrible!

People will go somewhere else, trying to find that Trails sign again. And there won’t be any people on my trails to give me loves.

And when that sign points to different trails, some other dog will be getting all the loves.

                                                                             ***

I’ve got an idea.

I’d better make sure the people with this travelling Trails sign aren’t looking though.

Bongo looking around the car with the TRA1LS license plate

The coast is clear. I don’t see anyone coming.

Quick, does anyone have a tow truck?

If I tow away the travelling part, the sign will stay here forever.

Marina, I hope my trails don’t follow that sign to Montana. I think that’s a long ways away.

You should have an ID tag that says trails, B. You would be great advertisement. …or maybe a license plate on your butt! 🙂

Cupcake, I’ll take both. And maybe a big sweater that says Trails all over it.

Maybe for your next project you can make a homemade sign pointing the way?

Will and Eko, I think I’d better do that because that travelling Trails sign traveled away.

Bongo, that sigh says the trails are in Montana, that’s a long way from your trails. You don’t want to keep a sign that tells p to go to Montana for trails, you just need to find them and get some love today!! BTW that car is a Subaru, looks like maybe Outback, that’s what we ride in all the time. That’s our type of car :-))

Lexie and Mica, maybe that Subaru will stop at your trails. But I sure don’t want to have to walk all the way to Montana to go on my trails.

Benny & Lily, I got kind of confused because that sign disappeared and everything looked different.

maybe you could put an arrow onto the sign and make it swivel so it’s always pointing in the direction of your trail?

Great idea Susan. I’m heading out to put a swiveling arrow on that sign right now.

Echo & Link, I think that sign is confused. It still thinks it’s in Montana.

Bongo pal you need a backpack that says “Follow me to the Trails”…That way effurryone will know you’re the leader of the pack!

Gizmo, great idea! I could have my own people following me – and instant loves whenever I wanted.

How clever you are Bongo! Yes, if you tow away the travelling part, the sign will stays there and lots of people come to your trail to give you loves! *whispers* they might think that they arrive in Montana though….
P.S. Is that a real sign of the car? Woof?

Kevin, that Trails sign is a real license plate on a car. But I’m thinking that since the sign got away, everybody might have gone to Montana to try and find my trails. I guess I need an Arizona Trails sign.

You don’t need a tow truck, Bongo,a screwdriver will do 🙂

Now you tell me Angels Whisper – after that sign got away.

Bassa, I think you’re right. My person says I might end up in Montana. I don’t know where Montana is but my person says it’s very cold there this time of year.
