I don’t see it here. Where is it?
You said it was coming. How come I’m not finding it?
.Maybe it’s over here.
Nope. I don’t see it anywhere.
Is it over this way?
Not here either.
Where is it?
A couple days ago we had a really warm day and we hiked up Sugarloaf. Person, you said we were taking advantage of the nice weather because snow was on its way.
And then yesterday it got cold and cloudy and you still said snow was on its way. I started getting really excited because I love playing in the snow.
So this morning I was all ready to run out and play in the snow. But there wasn’t any. There weren’t even any clouds anymore.
But person, you said we were getting snow, so it must be around here somewhere.
I don’t care if the weatherman messed up. If he’s hiding that snow from me he’d better come forth with it. Nobody’s keeping my snow from me.
What do you mean, I’m not going to find any snow?
That’s not fair!
Could you at least get me a couple ice cubes then?
January 12, 2013 at 10:39 am
I’ll send you all of mine Bongo, then you will have plenty! 🙂
January 12, 2013 at 11:19 am
Jaz, I’ll take your snow as long as it doesn’t stay too long. The best thing about getting snow here is that it stays long enough to have fun in it and then it goes away.
January 12, 2013 at 11:56 am
Ok but there is some assembly required LOL 🙂
January 12, 2013 at 12:08 pm
Does that mean like snowmen and snow forts?

Ice cubes instead of snow 😀 Bongo you are soooo funny
January 12, 2013 at 11:20 am
Susan, I can either play slip n slide with them – or I can eat them.

Uh oh! Where did your snow go? If we had some to share we would!
January 12, 2013 at 11:22 am
Emily, one of my other friends just offered to share hers. It might even make it here – it’s been cold the last few days.

It was in the 60s here yesterday and has dropped into the 30s here today so maybe we’ll see some too… but we aren’t crossing our fingers or paws just yet.
January 12, 2013 at 11:38 am
It’s not fair when we have to put up with cold weather without getting some snow to go with it.
January 12, 2013 at 10:50 am
If I could redirect the snow which is coming towards my place, I think both of us would be very happy!
January 12, 2013 at 11:24 am
Kolytyi, there must be a funnel up in the sky someplace that sends snow from one place to another. We just have to find it.
January 12, 2013 at 10:51 am
Patience, sweet Bongo! …and here’s a little something that I think you of all dogs, will appreciate:
“Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.” [Aristotle]
“He that can have patience can have what he will.” [Benjamin Franklin]
“The strongest of all warriors are these two — Time and Patience.” [Leo Tolstoy]
“Trees that are slow to grow bear the best fruit.” [Molière]
“Good things come to those who wait.” [Cassandra Clare]
Of course, person could oblige and give you some ice cubes while waiting!
January 12, 2013 at 11:33 am
Marina, patience is hard for me so I guess I’ll go crunch some ice cubes. Thanks for all the quotes. I found another one I really like.
“Through patience a ruler can be persuaded,
and a gentle tongue can break a bone.”
I really like that bone part. I like it when they write Bible verses just for dogs.

Sorry, B., the weatherman should be fired for getting your doggie hopes up. Snow is awesome. I hope it comes soon.
Love and licks,
January 12, 2013 at 9:36 pm
Cupcake, my person said the weatherman totally blew it and now we don’t have any snow showing in our future. I’m so disappointed.
January 12, 2013 at 5:26 pm
You can come by us cuz we still have a little snow on the ground – not much, but enough for a doggie to run around in.
January 12, 2013 at 9:38 pm
Mario, I’ll be right over. Woo hoo! Snow!
January 12, 2013 at 6:55 pm
Oh.. the colies hate it when the weatherman gets it wrong.. they bark a thunderous bark and Ginger thinks up of something horrible to do to pay us all back….. never cross the schnapp.. she never forgets! LOL…. We will talk to the weatherman here and perhaps you can have our snow for the rest of the winter…..
God Bless You Bongo and mom!
the collies and chuck 🙂
January 12, 2013 at 9:39 pm
Collies and Chuck, I just want snow for a little while, so if you could only send some of your snow that would be good. Ginger, if you could help me with that weatherman though, that would be good. God Bless all of you too.
January 13, 2013 at 1:45 am
We were suppose to get more snow, but it just got warm enough to rain 4 days and now it’s going to get cold again. How Yucky is that:(
January 13, 2013 at 12:42 pm
Lexie and Mica, we just got the freezing weather. Cold enough to snow but no precipitation. It’s still really cold outside – but I’m a good dog. I take my person for her walks anyway.
January 13, 2013 at 1:55 am
Poor Bongo 😦 We had snow last week. It has gone from my yard now but I can still see it on the mountains.
January 13, 2013 at 12:46 pm
Bassa, my person says there is still snow in our mountains too, but not the ones I can see from my trails. I might have to get my person to take me to the mountains so I can play in the snow. My neighbor dog Toby got to do that the other day.
January 13, 2013 at 3:10 am
I thought that you found a bit of snow the other day..maybe it has all melted! You could come to BG we have lots of snow and you could have a very good roll in the snow and stick your nose deep into it…..I know….. I will send you some in a parcel…. send your address!
January 13, 2013 at 12:49 pm
Patrecia, we had some snow and little patches of it stuck around and finally melted when the next snow was supposed to come – but didn’t. So now we have no snow. Please send me some. Please! Please!
January 13, 2013 at 7:49 am
We haven’t got any snow either this year…me too, I love playing in the snow.
It looks as if it was summer in Sedona if we see only the pictures. 🙂
January 13, 2013 at 12:51 pm
Kevin, the day my person and I climbed Sugarloaf was just like a spring or fall day here – nice and warm, but not too hot like it gets in the summer. Sometimes we get warm days like that in the winter. Today it still looks the same outside with blue sky – but it’s freezing out.
January 13, 2013 at 1:33 pm
Maybe the snow is hiding? Or maybe it was stolen?! I think this is a case for Detective Dog!
January 13, 2013 at 2:17 pm
Remy, I’m putting on my Detective Dog hat now and going out to look for that snow.
January 13, 2013 at 1:58 pm
We’re expecting snow tomorrow. Hope you get some too!
January 13, 2013 at 2:18 pm
Misaki, somehow the snow missed us completely. I think I have to wait awhile now, but I hope it doesn’t take too long. Have fun in your snow.
January 14, 2013 at 1:46 am
I’ll put some of mine in the post for you!! We have a light dusting here!
January 14, 2013 at 12:50 pm
Thanks Dalton. Is a light dusting kind of like with powdered sugar? Sweet!
January 14, 2013 at 6:20 am
You can come here Bongo, it is snowing outside right now. Wishing I could send it your way!
January 14, 2013 at 12:52 pm
Susan, I’ll be right over. Get ready to plaaaay!
January 20, 2013 at 12:31 pm
Bongo, the snow is here. Hope you get your ice-cups 😉
January 20, 2013 at 1:01 pm
Angels Whisper, can you send a little of your snow my way?
