Helping with Handouts

03 Apr

Kissing DadSo many good things happened because of Easter that I still have stuff to write about.

My person’s church isn’t big enough to hold all the people that show up on Easter Sunday so they rent a big theater and have Easter service there. My person was in charge of the Easter egg hunt and she wouldn’t let me come.

I was pretty upset about that – all those little kids to give me loves – and maybe some treats too. But we got to do something else that almost made up for it.

My person had some fliers to hand out to let people know about the Easter service. And she decided my trails might be a good place to hand them out.

My trails turned out to be a really good place, because you know what happened? Everyone that got a flier wanted to give me loves. And I got more loves in one day than I usually get all month.

I know Easter only comes around once a year, but there must be something else my person can do that she needs to hand out fliers for.

Bummer you couldn’t go, but your effort helped make the event a success!

Will and Eko, I think next year I’ll have my own Easter egg hunt on my trails. I’m sure all the kids would rather go to my Easter egg hunt. I could be the Easter dog.

Max, talk your person into getting some fliers – it doesn’t matter what they’re for. Handing them out is like a ticket for loves.

Maybe she can give out fliers about a garage sale. Then you can get loves for the fliers and MORE loves when people come shopping at your garage!

Cupcake, what a great idea! We don’t even have to sell anything – except loves.

How about flyer invitations to watch the sunset? Everyone likes sunsets – and it’s priced right

Karen, that’s a wonderful idea. And I could get lots of loves from people while they’re watching.

Marina, I bet my person could even hand out my slobbery balls. I’d better get them tossed back to me though.

Cool Dalton. I think I’ll get extra loves with any kind of flyer. And maybe someone will get your treats. Oh, maybe you should send some treats too.

I think the best solution would be to hand out fliers saying “Please love me and come back next week and pet me again! And don’t forget to bring your doggy, too!” It would be, of course, not for you but would be part of your person’s dog therapy. She could learn that she should not run away when other dogs are coming walking their person 😉

Kolytyi, that sounds like a great idea. I think I’ll start working on those fliers now.

No Bongo…we don’t celebrate Easter here. I don’t think that many people know what Easter is…
Personaly my mom likes Easter event as it makes her happy! 🙂

Kevin, Easter is the most important holiday for Christians – even more than Christmas – because that’s when we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection. If He hadn’t been raised from the dead His death on the cross would have been meaningless. We have hope of everlasting life because Jesus is alive. Of course many people here don’t even think about Jesus on Easter. They think about the Easter Bunny and Easter egg hunts.

Bongo, you’re so lucky, getting all the extra loves. Don’t worry, I’ll come up with something to get your person fliering every month.. 😀

Little Binky, I think I could print up some fliers with my picture on them. Everybody would want those for sure.

Misty Shores, the loves are wearing off now though. I’ve got to find something else for my person to hand out.
