I woke up from my after the dog hotel nap long enough for my person to tell me a story about what she did while she was deserting me in the dog hotel.
And the story she told me doesn’t make any sense. I think something happened to her brain while she was gone.
She tried to tell me about a homeless cat she met while she was gone. I don’t know why my person would go all the way to Seattle to meet a homeless cat. We have homeless cats around here – well not around my trails, but in places not too far away from here.
Anyway, my person says this homeless cat she met is named Bella. I’m not sure how a homeless cat could have a name, and even if it did, how would my person know what it was.
But here’s the really strange part. This homeless cat not only has a name, she has a person.
So if Bella has a person, how can she be homeless?
What, person? Bella’s person is homeless? I didn’t know people could be homeless.
Well, maybe someone should give Bella a home and then Bella’s person could go there too.
You did what, person? You and a friend gave Bella some cat food?
I like cat food.
Maybe if I go outside and pretend I’m homeless somebody will give me some cat food.
You gave Bella a whole bag of cat food?
I think I’m going to find Bella. I bet she’s got enough to share.

I know you think your mom’s gone mad but the rest of us are delighted to hear that she helped out Bella. How sad, to be homeless and have an animal you are trying to look after. PS – if you could possibly help Pixels gather some more votes, we’d be eternally grateful. She’s dropped down to 4th position and the competition ends in 4 hours time. We’re desperate. Thanks a million Bongo.

And you know Bongo, cat food usually contains …FISH!!!
But seriously, you should be proud of your person, helping a being in need.
In any case, that is a very good opportunity to ask for a raise – err I meant extra treats!
😉

Marina, I think you’re right. If my person can get food for a cat she just met then she can for sure get extra treats for me.

That’s really sweet what your person did. I always thought I’d rather be homeless with my dog than have to give her up. Whatever the circumstances are for the person that has Bella – I wish them the best and love that the cat is still well cared for.

Blueberry’s human, my person says that the homeless man she met really seems to love Bella – and Bella loves him. The man is waiting for surgery and once he gets it he will probably be able to work again.

Your mom did a kind act for the homeless person and kitty. Now she needs to do a kind act for YOU! More cat food please, Person.
Love and licks,

Please tell “Thank you very much for helping Bella for her food” to your person for me, Bongo!!!
What she did is a great thing! Bella and her person must have felt so grateful to get those helps from your person! *sniff sniff*
We always feel very sorry for homeless cats here, too….we adopted four homeless kitties these last 6months…but we don’t think we could do more….We always very thank people who help poor kitties for giving food! 🙂

Kevin, I’m amazed that you can put up with four kitties at once. I have enough trouble with one. At least Bella has a person who loves her. I hope they both find a home soon.

Oh Bongo, I think your person has the same mental constitution as she had when she adopted you instead of an expensive pure bred dog!

Kolytyi, I guess my person does have a soft spot for animals who need rescuing.

Did you check your person’s luggage to make sure Scratchy II didn’t sneak in? Cat food’s really good – I help clean it up when that Moe gets finicky, if you don’t it will only draw ants you know & that’s not good because when you sleep, ants crawl up your nose … Lola

Lola, I clean up Scratchy’s cat food too. I like your justification though. Now I can tell my person I’m doing her a favor by eating Scratchy’s food. I’m keeping the ants away. That would tickle if an ant crawled up your nose.

It makes you sneeze which can be fun if a cat happens to be standing there.

Ginger, we have lots of people going by my house because my trails are so near. I could get really full on treats. I’m practicing my big sad eyes now.

We have a guy by my office that has a pup too and that is one taken care of pup! That pup LOVES this man and there is an unbelievable bond there and without saying anything to get anyone in trouble, both are given shelter around the area at different times when the coast is clear as well as plenty of food. It is really a beautiful thing. Long story but both are happy and healthy 🙂

Max, I’m sure glad that pup and that man are taken care of. It’s kind of sad when people, pups, and cats don’t have there own place to call home – but sometimes I think love is more important.
