Silly String

18 May

Bongo covered with Silly StringI think my younger person tried to tie me up. He had this can and he started spraying stuff out of it.

That stuff looked like string, and he sprayed it all over me.

I know he wanted to tie me up, but I guess my younger person underestimated me.

That string couldn’t hold a lick to me. I could break right through it, piece of cake.

Did I say cake? Is there cake around here?

Oh. Never mind.

Back to that string.

.

I wrestled that string to the floor. And there it lay.

Now what?

Scratchy likes to play with string. And he’s not as strong as me.

I could get him interested in playing with that stuff and then wrap him up in it.

He’d be wrapped like a cocoon before he knew what hit him.

Hey, wait!

What’s my younger person doing?

Why’d you put the string up there?

That string spray is fun… I’m sure you’ll find a way to convince Scratchy to play with you!
    🙂

Marina, I’m working on it with Scratchy. First I have to figure out how to reach the string. It’s way up high now.

Sounds like you were having great fun Bongo. Don’t think Scratchy would have been particularly nice to you if you’d managed to get the string all over him!

Susan, if I can cover Scratchy with enough string he won’t be able to do anything about it. He can get as mad as he wants.

that younger person needs a smack bottom…fancy putting that silly string stuff all over you…it might contain nasty ingredients so do not eat it…not sure what young persons use it for but it sounds like very silly stuff to me…. As Queen Victoria would say ‘ We are not amused’

Patrecia, my younger person is much too big to have his bottom smacked – but if I could just convince him to redirect his spray toward Scratchy…

You are a brave boy, B. Silly String is not silly. It’s annoying. Plus, I am afraid of spray cans.

    Love and licks,

Cupcake, I’m not sure what people see in that stuff. The only kind of spray I like is water spray. I love it when somebody squirts the hose. Maybe that’s why my person didn’t plant a garden this year. I try to drink all the water coming out of the hose.

Benny & Lily, sometimes it’s just humiliating having to be a good natured dog.

Probably your younger person wanted to play with you with the string, Bongo? Which means that he had absolutely missed you while he was at the university!!! 🙂

Kevin, I think my younger person misses me a lot. But he does come home on weekends pretty often. Last week he was here for a whole week – something about some classes ending and new ones hadn’t started yet.

Max, I taught my younger person everything I know. It’s good to have him around, but he’s not here all the time any more.

I think you should tie your younger person to that chair and let him free only if he takes you to beautiful new trails.

Great idea Kolytyi. And I want trails with swimming holes.

Ginger, we have some more of that stuff, but I might have to promise Scratchy I won’t use it on him because I need him to help me reach it.
